Cori slipped up behind him, pressing against his back and slipping her arms around his neck. "God, I might as well be hugging an icecube." she murmured, smirking faintly and wishing he wasn't quite as tall.

Vadász looked back to her with a small smile, turning in her arms so that he could face her, bending his knee's a little so that the height distance wasn't so bad. He laughed lightly, looking back to her with a wink. "Well, it's what happens when one gets thrown around in the snow by beautiful ladies." He kissed her lightly, brushing some of the moisture from her features. And he promptly felt something hit him in the head, making him frown. "Priya do you mind?!" He shouted, though he still tried to keep his voice soft, not wanting to cause an avalanche or something.

Cori only laughed, kissing him again to cut off anything else directed towards his sister. "Hush, we don't want to be burried alive with you bringing the mountains down on us." she teased, pushing up onto her toes so he wouldn't have to crouch.

Vadász immediately lost all train of thought when she kissed him, returning it with a small smile. "I know..." He chuckled a little, bringing up an arm to stop the second snowball that came their way. He still crouched a bit, not wanting her to stand on her toes too long.

Cori paused, taking a step back and pulling him with her, and thus off the small mound he'd been on and shortening the height difference to only a couple inches. "Stop trying to be so tall and making me feel short." she said with a smirk, just teasing. "And Priya, stop throwing snowballs. You have to go to sleep sometime." she added, not looking away from Vadász. She was only joking, her eyes showing that.

Kantern lowered his eyelids to an almost glare. "By the looks of it, I'd say you turned out fine. If your daughter turned out anywhere near how well you did, she'd be lucky." Catching a whiff of Roran and that horse of his riding off, he stood, taking the scent in with a big whiff. Shaking his head from the strength, it was lip the first swig of a can of soda with all the carbonate. A small played across his cheeks as he watched Roran go. Looking down at Leena, he could tell that the topic of her child wasn't the best one.

"You know, I've always known Roran will die from recklessness. I knew it the moment we met. Hell, the scar he gave me almost cost him his hand. He relies on his hunting skills too much, in my opinion. I'm not saying they're poor skills to rely on, but sometimes you need more than the skills you have." He wasn't sure if he was making sense. He didn't care though. "He takes unneeded risks. Like earlier. He waited until the very last second to avoid a swipe I sent his way to climb onto my back. If he had been a fraction of a second slower, or if a weed or branch tripped him up, well, I'd have won." He doubted Leena had seen it, but he hoped she could understand what had happened. "I've told him to use his bow more often, he's a killer shot. He could probably nail a mosquito in a swarm of flies, if he had to." Sitting down again, a cold chill ran up his spine as the wind got in under his cloak.

Looking at her again, he noticed how white her hair was. "So, do you just wander around with that hawk? As queen, don't you have some kind of knight or guard other than a feeble hawk?" He hoped he hadn't insulted anyone, but he didn't care. The hawk was obviously an outcast, for he saw no reason for a Talaganian to go to Mereth. He also saw no reason for a simple hawk to want wizard powers. the only way he knew the hawk was her's was the smell of his magic. It was identical to her's. "I'm sorry, it's not my place to question. I just got curious as to why you'd be here with the elves, just you and your pet without any other guard." Kantern knew the hawk could hold his own ground, but he knew that a pure werewolf such as himself would have no problem taking one down. The only problem he'd have would be the problem he had with Roran. The damn speed. He'd have trouble keeping up with the bird. "I was just curious," Kantern added again, not wanting to seem like he was prying for something.

"Right." Damn. Those openings would be a good place to camp, but we'd be open for ambush. If we could somehow get everyone to camp in the trees, if we were ambushed their forces would be stuck in the openings and we could have our archers fire at their open ranks, and then send soldiers to take them head on. We could also get men into the trees, giving the archers a height advantage. Hm, it seems good enough.

Vadász laughed, having to quiet himself since his laugh could fill a room sometimes. "Can't help it my dear. I could really make you feel short." He teased right back, getting down on his knees so that he was level with her now, completely expecting a slap.

"I had a lot more sleep than you did!" Priya shouted from the tree, giggling merrily, making it sound like bells.

Leena smiled as she chuckled a little, a faint blush on her cheeks that faded quickly. She had trouble picturing herself with a child in her arms, or even running underneath her feet. It was a foreign idea in her mind, shaking her head a little of the failed image she conjured, hearing him sniffing the air. Turning her gaze to him, she blinked at the topic change, but was grateful for it. She nodded in agreement, straightening as she brought her knees to her chest, her arms wrapping around them to hold them close. No, she hadn't seen it at all, but she remembered a previous experience that completely matched that description. "Oh I know, I completely agree. He was forcing Eve to get angry so Selena could gain control and then he just pissed her off. He would have died if I hadn't healed him." She chuckled a little, looking out to the army as it began to move, noticing that Vadász had gone by earlier. "Well, your chances of him listening to you are higher than mine I'm sure." She murmured, not seeming too bothered by the cold given that she hadn't bundled up at all. She had noticed his shiver though, getting up off her cloak, the snow that was on it pulling away to return to the ground. She offered it to him, though she wasn't sure he'd take it. It probably held her smell rather strongly.

She couldn't help but laugh at his question though it wasn't out of any mean intentions, shaking her head as her expression brightened a bit, turning her eyes back to him. "Feeble... Oh he was pretty feeble when I found him. Visibly? Yes, it's just me and Vadász. Invisibly?" She stripped the shadows away from two of her guards, forcing them to appear. They bowed to both of them and then vanished again, a smirk on her lips. "Probably one of the few compromises I've made with my advisor's." She chuckled again, obviously he had a problem with Vadász. "He can hold his own. I only told him to deliver a potion, not to stay. That was his own choosing, I wish otherwise considering. I'm sure he smelled of me." She said softly, her worry leaking into her voice a little, but it was soon gone completely. "It's alright to ask Kantern, I know it's something that anyone would ask. I don't mind." She reassured him, glancing back to him with a warm smile.

"I don't think she got the point..." Cori sighed, glaring lightly with her hands on her hips as he knelt. "You do realize you're making yourself look ten feet tall, when you're just on higher ground?" she asked dryly.

Vadász shook his head, chuckling. he was surprised when he didn't get smacked, he had totally expected it. "She never gets the point. What? I can't help it!" He muttered, pushing himself up again, folding his arms over his chest.

"Sure you can." Cori retorted, setting her hands on his shoulders and moving him to where he was level with her. She shifted her foot to where it was between him and the mountains of snow, then prompty shoved him into the snow with a faint smirk. "Much better, groveling on the ground in my presence." she said with a grin.

Vadász frowned a little, allowing her to move him. Blinking as he fell over, he sighed heavily, why was he always getting pushed around? He fell into eight feet snow, getting completely buried as it fell on top of him. He then felt more of a weight on top of him, hearing Priya shouting for him. How deep was he? Jesus it was cold.... He tried to push himself up, but he was stuck, there was too much snow. He tried to burrow, again hearing a shout from above. 'don't move.' Thats what he heard. So he didn't, falling perfectly still.

Priya had scared a bird which caused more snow to fall ontop of her brother, immediately zipping out of the tree, knowing he wouldn't really be able to move under all of that. She started digging rather furiously, grimacing as it took a bit before she uncovered his arm, pulling him up with her. "Dammit you are heavy." She muttered, brushing the snow from him.

He shielded his eyes at the sudden brightness when his sister pulled him out. "Sorry." He gave a light chuckle, flying up with her since the snow was too deep. Then he landed inside the cave, shivering violently. "Oi... It's freezing." He muttered, changing into his hawk form so that he could hopefully be warmer, flapping his wings a bit.

Cori froze, though Priya had him out before she could do anything. She went back into the cave, sitting down against the wall near him and slipping her cloak off, pooling it in her lap. "Come here, let me at least try to warm you up again." she murmured, watching him.

He turned his golden eyes up to her, having to jump away from a smack from his sister. He changed back then and still managed to curl up in the cloak, shivering rather violently. He grinned though, looking up to them both. "I'm fine, don't worry about it." He chuckled a little, again feeling a smack on his arm from his sister. That smarted more than it should... ah well, must be the cold.

Priya grimaced, shaking her head at her brother. "Don't even lie ya fool. You'll get hypothermia." She murmured, now seeming quite the motherly type, pulling off her jacket and placing it around his shoulders. She still had a warm shirt on underneath it. She then smiled to Cori, "He'll be fine. He's been in snow deeper than that. Almost gave me a heart attack." She giggled a little, pushing herself up.

Cori only sighed softly, shaking her head at the two. She did move beside and press up against him, knowing that she had to be warmer. She remembered her mom doing it when she was little, smothering her in blankets then holding her to try and warm her up. Then she usually fell asleep and didn't wake up until Cori tried to get out of her cocoon to not overheat.

Vadász rested against her easily, sucking up her warmth rather quickly. He shivered, his arms sliding around her waist, holding her close. "Thank you." He whispered in her ear, leaning over a little to kiss her cheek. God he wished he would stop trembling!
