Rikki Tikki Travi ~Freya~As Freya takes another swig of her beer during Marie's talk of her mistress, she almost chokes and squirts it out of her nose when she begins laughing about her drink mix comment. "Kupfll...snirk...ha ha ha. Oh man that's too good."She sets her mug back on the counter, briefly wondering how Nirvana is doing on her end. She had to admit to herself that she had definitely found some interesting people in this city. Hopefully she would be alive after all this is done and get to know them better. "So I'm guessing what we just saw isn't all that abnormal around here huh?"
"No.. no, it's really not," Marie confesses candidly and with the faint hint of a sigh. "The Mistress says there are reasons that Kendal is the most popular waitress here. But she knows how to get serious when she needs to. It's just that.. sometimes she gets.. distracted," she adds, glancing back towards Kendal's direction. "It looks like she has noticed us though. She will probably be joining us soon."

Freya smiles broadly, "Oh is that right, I've known plenty of people like that...especially that partner of mine I was yelling at when we passed the dance floor."
She takes another long swig from her mug, this time finishing it's contents. When Marie says that Kendal was coming to join them soon, she thought of something quite devilish. She had three options: 1, start singing the meow mix jingle when she approaches them; 2, start saying "Here kitty kitty kitty, who's a pretty kitty?" as she approaches them; or 3, stay quite and be civil.
...choices.

-…Kali Everna…- Kali pouted a bit privately when the gorgeous girl's attention wandered back to that slimy a** she dared to call her client, but her curiosity was piqued, why here?
The man grinned lasciviously, and replied, "I'd love for you to come join us here...you two provide such pretty scenery..."
I want a girl with lips like morphine
Blow a kiss that leaves me gasping
I want to feel that lightning strike me

A sly, cheshire smile forms over Kendal's ruby stained lips. "Well, we do am to please 'round here," she replies coyly, "How about you save a spot for me? I'll be back soon."
Giving the man a suggestive wink, Kendal lets her tray fall to rest against her thigh as she heads back over to the bar area, her path aimed to meet Maire and Freya dead on.

As Kendal finishes her business at the table and begins heading toward Freya and Marie, the Kunoichi's inner voices voted on choice number two. Ah how she could always count on them to keep her entertained.
Freya starts patting her lap and cooing, "Here kitty kitty kitty. Aw, who's a pretty kitty? Is it you, I think it is."
On the inside there was much laughter, although she doubted Kendal would be able to appreciated it as much as she did. But to Freya that just made it all the more entertaining.

Getting closer, Kendal sees Freya offering her lap and taunting her. Narrowing her eyes, Kendal gets right in front of Freya, one hand reaching passed her to the countertop as she steps up on the foot bar. Towering over the canine, she leans close enough to snap her teeth just above the girl's nose. "Bite me furry," Kendal growls to her playfully before pivoting on the palm of her foot to flop into the stool beside them.
Dropping her tray on the counter, she glances between the two. "So what's the problem? Why aren't you out finding carney scum?"

Freya smirks when Kendal snaps her teeth at her. Unfortunately she is not so smug when it comes to the topic in question.
"Well y'see, I'm not really what you call a verbal collector of information. When I approached Marie with our little problem, I guess I wasn't too clear and what kind of jerk-offs we were looking for. We thought maybe you could clear it up for us. Because, I'll be honest, I only know these guys by their smells now. I have no idea what to look for."

"Well, did you explain the whole circus thing to her? Or did you just kinda say 'Hey, I was wondering if you'd seen any scum o'the earth wandering around here?" Kendal teases the canine. Sighing, she leans closer to keep their conversation just between them.
"Look Marie, it's like this. There is a powerful cult in town that likes to collect freaks, and apparently they have some nasty fire power behind them. What we're looking for are newcommers that target our staff, looking to get them off the club grounds and maybe walk straight into a trap. We've already caught one of them here. Selene is working on getting some information out of him. What we need from you two is to find out if any of our people have been approached by someone suspicious."
Unfocused eyes stare ahead throughout the explanation, but it is obvious that Marie is gving Kendal her full attention. "Has anyone spoken to the Mistress about this yet?"
Kendal nods, leaning back against the counter again. "She has been informed. She wants us to check things out within the club while she checks in with a few of her sources on the outside. According to Slade, this guy is going to start acting really strange sometime around morning. They've got some kind of connection to the circus grounds that does evil things to them if they aren't home on time."
Suddenly her eyes brighten as if a blub has just lit up abover her head. "Oh! That's something you can ask the girls! The people who would be approaching them would only come out at night and would be for sure out of here by dawn," she looks to Freya now. "You guys can tell the girls that if someone wants them to leave with them, just say they have to wait till their shift is over at sunrise. If the person is willing to wait until after the sun comes up, it's probably not one of our cultists."

Freya leans in as well and nods in understanding. This would work out very well. With Okami out and about, she could tail these guys once they are pointed out with no difficulty.
"I can't believe I forgot about that little factoid. Heh, too many years of asking questions with my fists I guess. Anyway, that sounds like a solid plan." She looks to Marie now, "So how 'bout it? Have there been any creeps looking to take any of the ladies before dark and no later?"

Marie answers Freya with a delicate shrug. "It would be hard to know, even if we asked them. I am not sure they would remember strange behavior centered around sunrise without provocation. Perhaps tonight we could go around and warn everyone of what to be on the lookout for? Then tomorrow we might have some answers."

Freya flops back into her seat and sighs. She was many things, but patient wasn't one of them. She wasn't expecting this to take as long as it was. She was hoping for a three step solution. Find info on first night out, save Julia or die trying on the second, then Miller time.
But she concedes and nods with a small smile. "Alright then, we got our task. I guess we'd better get on it ASAP. But first..." She turns back toward the barkeep to order one more pint. Before she can utter a syllable there is a fresh mug in front of her. The barkeep huffs and says, "I think, as long as your here, I'm going to assume that when you look in my direction you're going to want a beer."
Freya rolls her eyes and sneers. She takes the mug and raises it toward Marie, "Let's do this."

animeyumichan  A gasp escaped Angie's lips at the appearance of such a magical creature, "Oh...." she whispered, grinning with delight, light sparkling in her wide eyes. She looked closely, her head coming to rest eye level with the slight figure of the fae. "You're pretty." She stated matter-of-factly, and would have jumped up and down, but remembered at the last minute that the hands holding the faerie were in fact hers. She looked to Tia; "Will she be here forever, or..." She paused, a sad look crossing over her features, "Will she disappear into hiding again?((oomg haven't posted in forver I'm soo sorry...hopefully for Angie this post is acceptable? XD...and for Nathan...where is the Muse at/when do you think would be a good time for him to come in again...?)) ((postysauce!))

Glancing between the furry and Marie, Kendal decided that she had done all she could for them. Smiling to herself, she deposits the tray behind the counter, fruffles up her skirts a bit, and heads back towards her two newest companions.
As she approaches the roulette table, she notices that Kali has settled in the seat next to the man again, leaving no empty seats available near them. The gears in her wicked mind begin to turn, and it doesn't take long for her to decide on her 'seat'.
Sliding up to the couple, she flashes a flirty smile to the man before shifting her attention to Kali. With a sidelong glance towards Kali's lap, Kendal asks her coyly, "Is this spot taken?"
