In middle school, whenever our director got mad at a section, he'd throw his baton, but it always bounced off the floor and hit the first chair flute... ALWAYS... it was sooo funny!! blaugh

I always mess with my instrument and take the bell off when I'm finished practicing and walk around the house pretending to shoot people with a bazooka. It's better with a Contra-Bass Clarinet since it's bigger, but Bass Clarinet's do the job just fine...

Last year for our Chrismas Concert our band wore Santa Hats for our last song. The tubas all put their hats in their bells as we were supossed to keep the hats hidden 'till the last song. As it was, 3 hats were shot to the flute section and 2 were never seen again. xd

i was teaching a begginer drummers in band how to twirl a stick and he like launched it at a tuba.
The one of the baratones let his spitvelve out and the same drummer kid went to go get his stick right were he through something.
This kid is weird to.
He ******** bites the drumsticks. hes white and stupid.
He hasa ******** afro

We imitated sex with a trombone slide and a baritone bell! It was pretty funny, my friend and I would show this to random people walking down the band hallway that weren't in band. xd

Appoggiatura Thanks to one of the word 'f*****t''s definitions (which is bassoon, by the way), I often proudly declare that I have fingered my f*****t that day (transaltion: played bassoon). Only with my music theory class though, because we all looked at othet erms for musical instruments together and laughed at them. blaugh
and once I was transcribing my music and forgot about my pencil and dropped it down my bassoon and started screaming saying who stole it and in wasn't til later when I turned my bassoon upside-down that I found it neutral

Sometimes on my flute i take off the mouthpiece and blow into it like a trumpet and it sounds like someone farting xd

My friend loves to make his trombone into his "sexy hat"
Then I have actually had a lightsaber fight with my flute.
Next year we are going to make one of the bass players into the energizer bunny XD

At the end of band camp we always make up a skit about what happened at band camp and in the brass section we had this varied size of people and pretended that it was our tuba guy loosing weight during band camp while playing don't stop beleiving behind the curtains

Well, the section leader tuba in our concert band threw another tuba's balloon into his tuba.
Took the guy like five minutes to get it out. XD
Both me and the section leader were dying of laughter. rofl

once in the beg. band all the flutes stuck their flutes together and the could not get the apart.
another time we were have a sub teacher in band and our guy tuba stuck a bunch of girls tampons and pads down his tuba and there the sub ask whoes tuba was making a gross sound and he turned his tuba upside down and the sub turned bright red . it was soooo funny!!!

We were playing Carmen for the first time and there is a really really really loud cymbal crash in the beginning of the 5th act. No one but the Percussion knew about it.
So we were told to sight-read it and the opening note: CRASH! Two of the bassoonists dropped their instruments XP
