There seems to be quite a few since the server almost completely DIED. I've given up on it until things settle down a bit. I wish we could go to the different towns =O

Anetra_Pendragon You guys got picked too? What the heck ^_^;;; Did they like.. pick the whole Art Whore Guild? No ;-; And personally I'm a little unthrilled that EVERYONE has to deal with the slowness.. towns not working.. marketplace working on and off.. and pages freaking out when only a few people get to reep the benefits of playing with the new thing.
I bet it won't even be implimented for months and months afterwards.

Iris: It's not only a few people, trust me. It's enough people to make the pages freeze everytime you go to a new section of the map and log you out every two seconds and REFUSE to load again.

I have a question. Is it wrong if a person cancel's their art auction if they don't like the HB by the time the auction ends? I bid on an auction that ended several days ago. They've decided to extend it but the thought of cancelling the auction because the current bid is unsatisfactory was discussed. In case I'm not outbid by the new date, I think they might just cancel it. Doesn't that sort of defeat the point of an auction?

Yes, it does. They shouldn't set the start bid as something lower than what they would accept.

Night:If your talking about the same auction i was bumping at they extended it, and someone outbid you. But yeah what they did was wrong, in my opinion, especially since they just left it unknown for a few days. Now they've extended it this girl has outbumped me so it's just a hassle.
Honestly i think auctioners should have a back-up plan thought of beforehand and have it posted, like "Note, if the auction does not go above 10k then the winner will instead recieve so and so" 10k was just a random number btw.
Also another thing, I entered a contest which asked for participants to create a certificate. It did not provide any references as to how the certificate should look, and the only size specification was for the picture to be placed.
Once i had posted my entry, the contest runner said that he was sorry but it did not resemble what he was looking for, and the spaces were too small, and refused my entry.
I responded that maybe next time he should post references and that i was upset because i followed his guidelines and spent time on it then he just flat out refuses it because it's not what he was looking for.
I pm'd Noraboo (hope she doesn't mind) and asked her if that was allowed because it doesn't seem right that he is running a contest but it feels more like a "give it a shot but if i don't like it or find one i like then oh well to your hard work"
Kinda pissed me off so i'm actually doing something about it instead of just blowing it off like i usually do.
What do you guys think?

It's not allowed. He gave specifics for his contest and has to follow them. If he doesn't specify, he must accept all entries. His failure to do so can be reported to a mod for false advertising and withdrawal on contract. 3nodding I think I have something on that already in the Welcome to AC Forum thread... I shall check and modify to be more clear if it's not.

I checked back later and he had cleared his first and some other posts that responded to mine. Luckily i had taken screenshots of the first post.
