dEx began to think for a few moments about how she could link her chakra to the water. Then it hit her exactly how to do it. She smiled and took a few minutes to rebuild her chakra. Once she felt a bit revived she began to once again for the hand seals as she focused her chakra carefully. "Water Collision Destruction!" she called out confidently. The Second watched her and the technique closely

The large wave of water formed against next to dEx. Then she focused and targeted a tree. She moved her arm in a swooshing motion and the wave went high into the air and crashed down towards the targeted tree. dEx and the Second watched closely as the wave slammed into the tree. Then dEx moved her arm back the other way and the wave went up into the air again. Then it shot down hitting another nearby tree.

dEx stopped the technique and let the water fall away. The Second Hokage smiled and walked over to her. "You're doing pretty well. Unfortunately, I don't think I have anything else that I can show you right now." said the Second. "I've got a few techniques to teach her." said a voice behind them. The Second Hokage and dEx both turned to see the First Hokage approaching them.

The Second Hokage smiled and nodded to the first. "It was nice working with you. Good luck." said the Second to dEx. She bowed and thanked him for the training and then he left the clearing, which had grown considerably bigger because of all the trees destroyed by the techniques. By this point the first Hokage had caught up and was now approaching dEx with a smile.

Shadow picked up his head and looked at the First Hokage with great interest. Even the animals in Konoha were famliar with the great things that the First Hokage had done to get the village started. "Hello dEx. I was just talking to the Hokage and we decided that I could probably show you some techniques that would come in handy for you." said the First with a kind smile.

dEx returned the smile as she nodded to the Hokage. It was a bit difficult for her imagine herself training with all of the Hokages, but here she was right in the middle of it. "First I want to show you Mokuton no Jutsu and then that'll open the door for you to learn some other techniques." stated the First. dEx nodded and thought about the name. "I take it this is some kind of Wood Element technique?" she asked curiously.

The First Hokage nodded to her. "This technique is a Wood Release. Once you master this you'll be able to go on and learn many other Wood Element skills." replied the Hokage. dEx smiled and nodded as she waited for him to start the training. "In order to master the Wood Release skill it may help you to use this hand seal when you concentrate." said the First as he showed dEx a hand seal.

She nodded to him and the First Hokage continued. "Once you've gathered your chakra you need to put your hands to the ground. Then you can feed your chakra into the ground and create the plantlife and wood that you are trying to create. For now we are just going to focus on you creating whatever you can. I'd suggest a small tree or a wooden beam to start with." said the First.

"I'll demonstrate. Mokuton no Jutsu!" he called out as he formed the hand seal and then put his hands to the ground. Then she could see him focusing his chakra carefully into the ground through his hands. She watched in surprise as wooden beams and different kinds of tree and plants grew up between them out of the ground. The rumors of him using a technique like this to create Konoha might very well be true.

The First Hokage stopped the technique and all of the wood and plants disappeared. Then he stood up and motioned to dEx to give it a try. She smiled and nodded to him. dEx formed the hand seal that the first had suggested. "Mokuton no Jutsu!" she called out. Then she quickly thrust her hands to the ground in front of her feet. She focused as she let her chakra flow out into the ground.

dEx watched in surprised as a few plants appeared from the ground in front of her. She smiled and was almost laughing as she looked up at the First Hokage. He nodded approvingly to her. Then dEx stopped the technique causing the plants to disappear. "As you work with it you won't need to actually use this technique on its own, but you'll use it naturally within the other techniques." said the First Hokage.

"I think you're ready to move on to something a bit more challenging." said the First. dEx nodded to him enthusiastically. "Once we finish this training it will be time for you to try to regain your life. We are aware of what has happened in Konoha with your friends. It is a shame since we helped Bone, Gana and Drago all train here, but there it nothing that can be done now." said the First.

dEx looked down at the ground sadly. "The bigger problem now is what the Hidden Haze is up to. They are covering their tracks so well that even we aren't really certain." explained the First. There was something bothering dEx ever since she died and she wondered if the Hokage might be able to answer the question and give her a little peace of mind on the matter.

"Hokage-sama. Do you have any idea if there was any reason behind me being killed?" she asked. The First closed his eyes and sighed as he nodded to her. "We suspect that they knew you were trying to convince your friends to return home. The Hidden Haze was not about to let Konoha's three strongest fighters return when they had a perfect opportunity to try to take on the village." started the First.

"More than likely they figured that you were a much easier target than Drago. Also, they were probably taking any opportunity to take out any members of the main village that they could. Since you were alone at the time and they had the muskets with the special chakra bullets you just happened to become their target" continued the First. dEx nodded to him.
