Shaon curled up in the coat, a small snarl emmiting from her mouth as she slept, her breathing quickened slightly as she dreamed.

Zy noticed the change and resisted sitting next to her. Instead he looked up at the moon and then into the woods.

Shaon's snarls dwinlded away to whimpering as she huddled tighter, her body shaking as she dreamed. the mob after her, their weapons, their fire, backed into a corner. she let out a muffled yelp, the sword in her side. it hurt...hurt so much...

Zy could no longer ignore her. He got up and walked to her side; sitting down right beside her. He wanted to wake her up, but she needed sleep; even if it was covered in bad dreams. He wanted to touch her but resisted with everything he had.

Her whimpering slwoly died down, but she reamined curled up, eyes squinted unusually tight for sleep. she was still and silent as stone, arms wrapped tightly around herself.

Zy continued to star at her and finally giving up; With his one finger he brushed her hair that got in her face back behind her ear. His hand slowly moved from behind the ear to her smooth check; there it stayed until Zy quickly pulled it back trying to control himself.

Shaon winced at the fleeting touch, though she remianed alseep, huddled by his side liek a child huddled under with their blanket because they were afraid of the dark.

Zy snapped out of it and got up; looking at the moon and grabbing his bible. He wasn't going to allow Shaon to detract him this time.

After a few more minutes, shaon stirred lightly. "hmmm?" she blinked. "did i fall asleep?"

Zy didn't look at her; he couldn't. " Yeah, just for a little bit." He said softly.

zy stood up. "Well lets get going. We don't wanna meet a whole clan of vampires." He mocked.
