Rosie let go s Shikus hand stepping over a bag, wait how did she know there was a bag... She hadn't be focusing... Had she. She ignored this and felt her way to the closest wall, her ribs had started hurting but she pretended not to feel the pain, after a brief moment she turned towards Shiku calling out, "So, what do you think we should get started on?" She wouldn't have mind working on some constitution and strength training, after all she was running a little low when it came to physical strength.

Shiku sat on the mat, the whole floor was covered with matting. It was softer than the mat at the academy. "I think we should probably start working on our jutsu. If we start now we'll probably be ahead when we learn it at the academy." Shiku said looking up at Rosie, her eyes wear beautiful from where he was sitting. She almost looked like a painting.

She nodded in agreement. She took a seat next to him focusing on her hands, it had taken her over a year to learn all twleve hand signs, and three months past that to perfect them. She searched inside herself feeling the chakra flow and her energy rise, she didn't want to start with anything to complicated, maybe just a simple clone technique or something, "So, what do we start with, I'm thinking some cloning or something simple to start off with."

Shiku chuckled and rubbed the back of his head. "Umm I'm not to sure how to do and jutsu. Not even cloning, I think I can do it I just don't really know how. Can you show me?" Shiku said as He watched Rosie do a hand seal. When did she learn how to do cloning? I wonder when she learned how to do clones.

Katon: Haisekisho Training: 21/70
Now that Hana had finished preparing for the technique, she was ready to actually perform it. Hands slowly but accurately forming the long pattern of handseals, the red-haired kunoichi took a deep breath before fiercely (but with great control) expelled her chakra into the great space in front of her, which was the river. If she had performed this technique correctly, a cloud of super-heated ash would fill the air.

Something went awfully wrong with her technique and Hana was surprised as she had breathed out a cloud of smoke instead of ash. She didn't have long to indulge in her surprise though, as the cloud of smoke came back and made way for her. The red-haired kunoichi coughed furiously, fanning her hand to try and get rid of the smoke. When the cloud refused to go, however, she lost her patience and furiously used Painful Sky Leg on her area, the mini-earthquake that resulted being powerful enough to dispel the cloud of smoke.

An unhappy Hana was sitting in lotus position, busy trying to think over of what she could've possibly done wrong. The seals were all correct and accurate...how she expelled the Jutsu seems about the right time as well...could her problem lay in how much chakra she had applied...? Come to think of it...Hana didn't use as much chakra as she normally did for fire Jutsus...partly because the Haisekisho was different. Perhaps that was her mistake.

The next time Hana performed the technique, her results were much better. In fact, as the red-haired kunoichi jumped back after using the technique (having expected a cloud of smoke again), this time a cloud of ash did appear . Sure, it took a while for the ash to disappear (and Hana was not stupid enough to approach a cloud of super-heated ash) but when the cloud did disperse, the young Chuunin noticed the plants and shrubbery was scorched. Perfect. She was getting better at this.

Apparently, Hana's patience paid off as her next trail yielded even better results. Though the ash looked relatively harmless, they did have a slight orange-ish glow and when the cloud dispersed this time, the plants in the area were blackened, many having burn marks all over. Good. If she masters this technique, it will be a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield.

Partly due to Hana's impatience in finishing the Jutsu, the next trail did not yield as promising results. Certainly she had managed to get the cloud of ash out but the ash was less damaging...she must've not applied enough chakra again. It was tedious but it appears it would take some time before she's able to figure out what the 'just right' ingredients are for her.

While the next attempt at the Haisekisho did not go as well as Hana would've wanted it to, it was still a fair trail... Of course she hadn't expected to master this particular fire Jutsu right away. After all, it is fairly different than the other fire Jutsus she had learned, and would thus require more time and thinking. But with her stamina and determination, most likely she'll be done before noon.

Hana's next attempt at the Haisekisho went a bit better - she was at least able to make fairly considerate burn marks on the trunks of nearby trees and blackened many of the leaves with soot. She will have to work on strengthening this technique later...but after she manages to feel comfortable performing the Haisekisho. Despite the fact that she was slightly irked by how long it was taking to learn this technique, training ninjutsus was still quite enjoyable for her.

While Hana's next attempt was not in the least impressive, at least she had done her best performing it. Her power level had noticeably dropped...she will have to work on strengthening before holding the cloud of ash in the area for a certain amount of time. Then, she can work on combining the Haisekisho with some other Jutsus. If it was possible, she wanted to get an idea of how it would be like to combine the Haisekisho with the Hosenka.

Hana's patience was the key to mastering this technique and her patience did indeed pay off, as the next trail yielded much more promising results. Oh, certainly she has probably at least a good ten more trails to go before she is comfortable with the Jutsu. And as planned previously, then she'll be able to work on strengthening the Jutsu, drawing out the Jutsu's time, before using her new technique in combinations with ones she already know.

While most shinobis would probably gain fame for massive arsenals but not quite knowing how to perfectly arrange their techniques in combo, Hana focused more on mastering a few techniques but powerful ones and mix these techniques with a few of the more mediocre Jutsus to create interesting but effective combinations.
Her next trail did not yield as promising results...but that was alright. After all, it'll still take her a bit of time to get used to a new Jutsu and so far she advanced fairly quickly.
