Lyren looked at the two guards, then at their swords. He dropped the crossbow to the ground and raised his hands to the sky, smiling slightly. "Why hello there. Before you run me through, I'm a priest. I heard what sounded like a whip. If you found the source, I wouldn't mind you telling me what it was." His smile grew. "The crossbow was if I found out that I didn't like what caused the sound." At this point he raised the cross. "If either of you are religious, this should offer at least some proof I'm not a raider." He took the two morning star halves out, reattached them, and set them by the crossbow. "No hidden weapons to ambush you." He kept his hands in the air.

The ranger had looked at the person that she pointed too. "Thats the king! What happened t him!" He had slung his bow over his shoulder, and onto his back. Walking over to the king, he bent down, and checked his pulse. "He is alive, but barely. We need to get to the castle quickly!" He said loudly, as he picked up the king, and started to walk to the southern part of the town. "You coming?" He asked her making sure that she would.

The swords men had lowered their swords and shields. "Ok, if you don't really mean any harm, come with us, we can use another priest." They said as they walked up to him, and picked his weapons. One got in front of him, and on got behind him. "Come one, lets go to the castle." They both said as hey had started to walk a little.

((Priest game-wise, mage fighting-wise. Would being a priest change the stats? + 1 Holiness?))
Lyren continued smiling, lowering his hands. "Be careful of the crossbow, it's still wound and loaded." Lyren motioned to the crossbow while walking. "How far to where we're going? In other words, how far to the nearest church that you're undoubtedly throwing me in to have me off your hands?"

The guards had looked at the cross bow for a moment. "We know how to handle a s cross bow." One of them said. Then looked at him. "We aren't going to a church, we are going to the castle." The first guard had pointed to a tower in the south. "That is it." He said simply, as they walked towards it.

"Yes," Narcissia replied simply, following the ranger to the castle. "I found him like this... outside a cave?" she added the last bit with an absentmindedness tone designed to test the ranger if the cave ment anything to them.

The Ranger had looked up when he had heard the word 'cave'. "That cave that you speak of was sealed off thirty years ago." He said as he continued to walk to the castle. When they go to the center of the town there was a littel skirmish going on between three guards, and two goblins. "Hold on a second." He said as he placed the king down, and took out his bow, as he started to fire at the goblins.

Lyren nodded. "Very well then. Just a final question before I shut my mouth and save it for the masses when I find them. Is there any strange customs that are exclusive to here and here alone? Concerning religious folk and offense magic?"

"Normally, we don't allow mages to carry weapons with a blade, even in time of war. But since we are being attacked by goblins, we will allow it this time." The guard said as they came across where the ranger and Narcissia where. "Hold on." The said as they charged into the goblins with their swords drawn, and ready to attack.
((At level ten, depending on your fighting style, you character sheet will change, and you will gain new skills/abilities, and you class will change. But, there will be other things.))

Flipping a stray lock of sweaty black hair away from her face, Artica hissed as she used her energy to cast another fire spell. The tempature rose a few degrees, but if this attack landed, the unlucky goblin on the reciving end would be a whole lot more uncomfortable then her, that was for sure.

((Sorry for the OOc post here, but in order fot it to be seen faster, it has to go here. Aaron, can still do stuff, like talk, and think. So please post, and if you don't post you might not get out from the ice, because you have 3 turns until it melts, so you need to post for it to melt...
Oh, and the two people out side of the cave, they can talk to each other. They are fight next to each other, or almost...))

((You cant attack, but yo have to post your frozen count down each one of your turns. If you don't, you will keep at the same number that you where at. You cant attack, but you can think. But do this when you do a count down.
freeze: 2
and so on.))
