he let cyan down as he could see his mother. he sat down close to vinsa and spoke to him quietly so they didin't hear. "let's get the kids to bed first. trina can take care of them. i need to be with mari right now."

The boys were looking over their mother and they weren't too upset. It just looked like she was sleeping now that Vinsa had her cleaned up before they got there. They then went to see Raine and she just had bruises. Vinsa looked at Smash and started to write a letter. "Will Trina just be watching the boys because I think Raine should stay. She didn't seem... Right before she passed out." He then stabbed it with the daggar and it was sent to Bron and Trina to recieve.

he looked at him and he knew exactly what he was talking about. "i know what happened to her. and this is something only i can take care of."

He leaned back in the chair and rubbed the back of his head. "Alright, but that didn't answer my question. Is Trina only watching the boys or will Raine be going with them?"

he thought it over a bit. "yea. keep raine here. i have to keep an eye on her."

Vinsa got up and looked down at Smash. "Alright. I'm going to take the boys an meet Trina half-way, then. Come on boys! Trina's watching you tonight!" He then turned and smiled at Smash. "You can count on me, Matthew. I won't let anything happen to them." The boys gave Smash a hug before walking out of the clinic with Garreth and Cyan to take them to Trina.

he hugged the boys then nodded to vinsa. "thank you." he moved and sat next to mari. he held her hand and let out a deep sigh. he was happy she was ok.

Mari was laying on the bed and her eyes started to flutter a bit. She let out a sort of moan. She was slowly waking up, but then something came to her mind and she sat up straight and her eyes wide opened. She looked around in a panic and seen her daughter laying in a bed beside her. She got up and crawled into the bed that Raine was in, holding her tightly and breathing heavily. She then kissed the top of her head and was running her fingers through her hair. She didn't acknowledge Matt, but it was only natural she would be searching for her child first. She held her so tightly as if she wouldn't let the girl go for anything and tried to figure out where she was.

he got up and held them both. he rubbed mari's head to calm her down. "everything is ok. we're at vinsa's. the boys are with trina right now."

She gave a heavy sigh and continued to hold onto her daughter, still not letting her go for anything. She was at least relieved to hear that the boys were fine.

he held her tightly and they stayed like that. he kept running his fingers through her hair and kissed her head. "everything is ok now. raine wasn't hurt at all. she actually was the one who hurt devana."

Mari looked over her shoulder at him and was surprised at what he said. "What? Raine?"

he nodded and looked at her. "watching you get hurt like that cause her to use the game face. she broke her arm then devana ran away after that."

This upset Mari and she just held onto the girl tightly. "No... She's too young. She can't know that, yet..."

he looked at raine and then started running his hand through her hair. "she can. and if i dont jump on this then she'll turn out the way i did."
