OK, full story *readies the tissuebox*:
He called early this afternoon, seeing if I wanted to go out today. Yes, of course I did. We checked movie listings; nothing good out right now. I suggested the Tulsa Zoo, which I hadn't gotten to go to in years, and he thought that was dandy. Got there, saw the polar bear (he's really shy, and Sean hadn't seen him the last several times he'd been in), went to most of the exhibits. Then, around the African animal part of the park, he asks if I'd like an Altoid, and had me reach into his pocket. There was the ring box, but it took me a little bit to figure out why there was a ring box in his pocket. Once I did, though, I immediately told him I needed to sit and started crying. We ended up sitting inside this little building (for the life of me, I don't know what the exhibit contained) and sat on the floor (no bench). He sat with me, and my hands were shaking so bad. I handed back the box, and he knelt down, took my hand, and asked me to marry him. I sobbed as I sat down, I sobbed when he took my hand, I whimpered and bawled when he knelt. Of course I accepted, and we just sat and hugged for a bit before I was able to stand and finish the zoo visit.
We went to the Olive Garden for supper, then to his friend's house for a little champagne, then home to watch History of the World Part 1. He has to work in the morning, so he headed home after that.
