It's clips from the Bachelor. I'm supposed to write a piece for my English teacher on gender roles and their portrayal. I saw the most offensive clips ever. T.T

xxxx Okay. So this is my thing. The guys had the same thing done to them but the way they handled it was differently. They kinda just 'whatever-ed' it. Fellas in the guild. How would you guys react to that happening to you? What would you do? What reaction would you make?[if any at all] What would you think?

That does hurt, there's no doubting it. How each person handles something like that is different. How each person handles that same scenario with other people is different. And how each person handles that same scenario when on television is completely different. Any and all forms of "reality" tv aren't worth watching. *Cough* Er... a-anyway... I'd probably just go silent. ( Also, that guy that threw the egg like a baseball looks like a ******** moron. )

Where the 'female' stereotype would be to cry and s**t talk other women. XD

Somethin' that like. ' _ ' I'd probably start crying a bit, honestly. There was some little kid who called me ugly and it cut me pretty deep.

I know i'd cry if all those eggs hit me Q Q I might boast some (not really no. . .I hate people like that) about my body. But to be called ugly. and have paint eggs hit you. . . I'm 99.9% sure i'd cry. Especially if it was from a guy I like. _-_
Shinny-sama; Awww D: I'm sure they were just joking Shinny-sama.

I probably would have felt like s**t but not cried? I think it was friggin epic how she turns around and starts talking crap about all the other girls. Seriously? How classy.
[@ Shin Saur]: I take what kids say purdy bluntly too. They don't really lie when it comes to stuff like that unless they are teasing you but then it's obvious when they are doing it to get a response from you.
<< You can take it both ways. They were being mean or they were letting you know their honest opinion, the latter is the painful one.
For the record I dont think you are ugly Shin Saur.
