In an instant, Sephiroth's form was in front of Mai, accompanied with the heavy fragrance of sulfur and the horrible scent of burnt flesh. His hand, in an instant, had a hold of the fabric of her shirt, and he lifted her off the floor, glaring at her.
"That will be the last time I hear you threaten another member of this Dojo, do you understand me? Your family is your past, this is your present. My present, and I'm sworn to protect this place, and the people here." He released her collar and let her fall to her feet.
"And don't yell at your Sensei. You honestly don't have the ability to handle what we were working on. Here's your test: Light a flame, and keep it lit for a day. If you can do that without drawing on any other chakra source but your own, I'll retract my statement, and you'll get your training." He walked back to the main room with that, taking his book up and sitting back down.
The smell of burnt flesh followed him out. The intensity of the flames he'd used to teleport burnt even his skin.

She looked at Seph and struggled trying to break his grip on her shirt.
"How could you protect everyone if you couldn't protect your own student from themself?" She asked him after he said that about the flame. She then walked away not caring what he had to say, she'd do what she could to kill Neko..... and finish why the demon forced her to live and left her to suffer...... She knew Neko knew what he had done to her....

Fenris watched Sephiroth, surprised, having not seem him that angry in a long time. She sighed, sitting down next to Sephiroth, looking to him curiously. "You okay, Seph? I can give you a back massage if you want... Those always relax people..."

"Fine." He said, leaning back to prevent said rub. His face did not betray his anger any longer. He looked passive and intent on reading his book.

Fenris frowned, watching Sephiroth for a long moment before sighing and standing up. "Alright... have a good night then, Seph..." She bit her lip softly and headed off, crossing her arms as she slipped outside.

Mai continued her search through books, she had been looking constantly to figure out how to unseal these seals Tutsumi had put on her........ she growled throwing the book across the room finding nothing..... she had been sneaking books from anywhere she could find to find the answers......
After a while she figured out what she had done and looked at the ground and went back out......
"sensei...... I'm sorry..... out of everyone, you should be the last person I should ever had yelled at .... you are the only one who did believe in me when the others didn't.... I know you won't forgive me now..... but is there anyway you can?"

Melony bowed and quickly followed her sister outside especially seeing Mai coming back.......
"fenris wait...." she said walking out with her with a smile.
"mind if I join you?"

"fine, I still need to learn to bend a kunai into a syrienge then i finished for this test so I can move on..... but needles sceeve me out......" She said with a frown....
"Also, he is teaching me how to make medical items....I rather fight...... medical doesn't seem to like me.... being I freak out at the sight of a needle in mine or another's body."

"Already have." He said lightly, staring at the words on the pages. "But whatever grudge you hold against Neko needs to be evaporated. Effective immediately." He looked over the rim of his book, locking eyes with her. "If you ever attack anyone here again, I'll personally make sure that you won't be able to step foot back on the Academy Grounds. I'm sick of hearing through the grapevine that my student has been attacking family members." A thought struck him.
"That's what we are, Mai. We're your family, now. The past is the past, and you can't change it. I don't know if Neko killed your relatives or not, but it's in the past. If I find it to be true, I'll handle it myself." He smiled at her, then looked back down to his book. "Go ahead and make that fire. Hover it next to me, and I'll make sure it doesn't go out for twenty-four hours, alright?"

"You do not seem to get the idea if being able to forge metal into different shapes, do you?" She looked to her sister with a frown, then sighed. "Say... take a pipe. It's a blunt object. But if you know have to successfully force metal into a spike, you can run someone through with it. What he is doing is teaching you the essentials so you can be creative with it later on, sister."
