I never liked the random generation of anything. every time I have ever used anything "randomized," it has ended with me getting the worse end of the scale. Not once have I ever gotten anything nice.

Computers are notoriously bad with random number generation despite sophisticated techniques. Actually, one of the simpler ones, a Linear Congruential Generator, is one of the better ones personally (it's basically shuffling a deck of cards, ensuring every result shows up in its proper proportion, only the order is not guaranteed).

*shrugs* All I can say is that I never once have ever gotten even mid-range items from any RIGs. Whatever is done to try and fix it is quite literally years too late to avoid a poor reputation.
In other news, Merry Christmas, Good Yule, and whatever else you might be out there.

I've gotten a few mid-range things, but the stats on those things are so skewed to the lower end of the scale.
Merry Christmas to you as well.

Nothing so sinister, Yoder. I was considering making a minor announcement, then chickened out and just said Hi instead.
Well met, Oni, I wish the place was livelier for you, but you are quite welcome to join in and enjoy the place.

Back to work on Monday... This 2-week break was good & much-needed. And no breaks until next Thanksgiving (aside from holidays). xp

It's what I did last year, so I knowhope I can manage it again. While I know I'll be continuing overtime at least until June, I have enough time leftover this year to possibly take off all of Thanksgiving through Christmas; of course, that's provided my clients are okay with that (the reason I didn't take more time this break).
