If we'd had medical equipment, or the means to make it, we could have saved each other countless hours of pain and suffering. Who knows? One injection could've been enough to keep Sarya in this world."

He reaches into his pocket and pulls out the stone from the night previous, gazing absently at it.

Ishira was half awake in her bed. she was sick yet again, but the tea she had made had calmed her down. She moaned slightly and she moved to her side to look into the room. It wasnt much different then before but each day she checked to see if she could see something new. It was large, beautiful in many different ways. A weak smile spread across her face and she lifted herself up with her arm, before swinging her legs around and touching the floor with her bare feet. It was cold... She took one of the smaller blankets and wrapped it around her shoulders. She moved to the dresser and pulled out a cloak that quickly replaced the blanket she held. She slipped on her black fabric shoes and went out the door, now in the halls, wandering.

Angrily, he throws the stone at the monument.
As the two stones collide, the smaller rock shatters in a burst of light.

Iri gets back to her feet and steps off of the porch. She hates to see him upset. "Reeve..."

The light vanishes into the earth and for a moment there is nothing. Then the ground starts to shake, softly at first but it quickly escalates into something more parallel to an earthquake. After a few seconds of this there is a loud crack and a large ball of electricity around what's now a mound of dirt in front of the monument. Suddenly the light is gone leaving only the dirt which seems to be moving on it's own.

Reeve, blinded, falls to the ground as it tremors and shakes. He feels it rise in a mound, just in front of him.
" What in hell...?'
