Almost immediately, Merlin's expression grew somber, and even Kyle stopped acting quite so erratic, growing still. "She's still in stasis in one of the bedrooms. I can lead you to her, if you'd like--if you help carry him?"

"C'mere, shorty," Kyle said, waving Joe over.

Noelle stepped forward as well, though she didn't have much to say; just wanted to follow them to see the white mage for herself.

Yen Sid remained silent, turning to face the Cornerstone in thought. Sora, at first pretty jubilant about his Mark of Mastery, seemed to quiet down as well--though Riku had other ideas.

"Hey," he said, jabbing the younger male in the side with his elbow. "Don't you have someone to tell about your new title?"

At first, Sora blinked, confused--before a grin suddenly broke out. "Oh, yeah! Kairi, Donald, Goofy--"

"Your friends should all be in town," Yen Sid said, waving off to the side once again, creating a small spatial gate that would bring him back into town.

"Thanks, master!" Sora replied, smiling before he waved at the others and ran into the portal, which remained open. Riku stayed behind, at least for the moment.

Watching Kyle being lifted like a sack of potatoes was quite funny. At first she thought to follow- but seeing Kyle, Joe and Noelle together, they had been through so much. Right now her presence only served to upset them. As far as she was concerned Kyle whole predicament was her fault in a big way-
He was too tired and needed rest. Joe and Noelle were both still hurting from Rae’s loss- no-

She had no right to follow them. Not like this. Joe and Noelle were already upset- she was the LASt person they eneded wiht them, or anywhere near Kyle.
Besides, Joe may start acting like she didn't exist again and that wasn't needed right now. She'd give them space.

Study?
Maybe.

Mmmmmmm- Maybe she could do that later. Right now- her mind was a scramble, she couldn’t’ focus. But she was too wound up to sleep- no matter how tired she looked with dark circles beginning to form beneath the brim of her glasses. Thankfully they could be mistaken for shadows cast by the frames.

James- looking to him, seemed to be deciding something and Kyla didn’t want to interrupt that. Dawn, she wasn't quite sure what she planned to do- possibly follow as well?- which left her with-

Sora, and Riku? Now that she thought about it, Kyla never got to really meet Kairi before. Though it was something she had planned for a while. Still, again that was yet another cliché a friend she did not belong to. Best be polite- if a 4th wheel was not welcome she would not pry.

During this time Louis was stil there- in all his phantismal glory. She wouldn't have made it through this without him, and for that she was grateful. He tried, and she smiled at him even though he was clearly desturbed by all of this.

' Thank you.' she thought again.

Taking one final glance over her shoulder to the other three as they went off to meet Rae..or what was left of her- Kyla slowly wandered over to where Riku still stood beside Yen Sid's portal.


“umm..” she began staring at her feet. “-.. w..would it be.. Alright if I met Kairi too?- I- I understand if you guys need to catch up though, it’s fine. Everyone needs that special time with their friends so- if I’m intruding-” and she went on rambling like that.

"Oof," he grunted as he was hoisted up, frowning but not quite fighting against his carrier. "Careful. Precious cargo."

"Right, then, this way," the wizard said, making his way up the stairs of the Hall into the main throne room, leading the followers out and eventually into the hallways.

When Kyla approached him, Riku gave her his attention; when she asked if it was "alright" if she met Kairi too, his brows furrowed in confusion, one raised slightly. All the same, he gave a reassuring smile. "Uh, yeah, I don't see why that would be an issue. Though, if you don't follow him quick enough, you might lose him in the crowd."

"Oh, hey--yeah, looking for Kairi," he replied to Axel, and was about to take off again, only for the Nobody to look away, perplexed.

He followed his gaze and, by the time he saw her, heard Kyla shout in surprise, dropping down. When Axel laughed and she brushed herself off, he figured she was fine--and gave her a wave and smile as well.

She must be here to enjoy the festivities, too.

Not giving it anymore thought, he took off into the crowd--he thought he'd spotted a familiar shade of deep red hair down one of the side streets.

As he finally caught up to the red-head, he realized--too late--that it wasn't her, as he grabbed her by the shoulder and turned her around.

"Oh, whoops!" he said, immediately taking his hand off and recoiling in embarrassment. "Thought you were someone else--"

In the moment he turned to face her, he could see down a perpendicular street, which opened up to a wide, open area, with a large sign overhead saying "Rumble Racing!!!". In that brief flash of a second, racing carts passed by the entrance line--and he saw Kairi, fighting Mickey for the lead.

He grinned.

"Have a good time!"

Immediately, he dashed off around the corner and down the side street, pushing through the crowd of onlookers and heading toward the entrance booth. The race would be over in a minute or so.

As much as she tried to keep the phantasmal boy purely mental and separate from the reality happening in front of her face, his teasing and apparent obsession with shipping was starting to blur the line. For the most part she just tried to send various emotional reactions in his general direction, such as her amusement at his matchmaking or the general emotion that evokes an eye roll when he mentioned "snatching up" Demyx. Yeah, no, not going there, nice try.

But then he called her tusndere, and she watched his mind immediately leap into kinks she had always avoided like plague, and she just lost it. Zell had to grab her as she doubled over in helpless, breathless laughter.

"Tsunde—I just—I be—wait, what—no!" Bobbi was laughing so hard she couldn't complete a thought, never mind a sentence.

"Is she ill?" Nanaki asked with some concern as the archer's uncontrollable laughter devolved into shoulder-shaking silence punctuated by occasional squeaks as she tried to inhale. Zell looked profoundly worried and shrugged, thoroughly confused by her outburst.

"I dunno. Um, kid? Bobbi? Are you okay?"

"I'm fine." Her voice was unnaturally high-pitched as she choked it out past her laughs. One hand clutched at Zell for support, and the other wiped tears away as they streamed down her face. "No really, I'm okay. 'M just… There's a voice in my head and he's trying to pair me up with every dude in sight and it's just so freaking hilarious and I guess I just really really needed a laugh or something I dunno give me a second I can't breathe!"

Zell and Nanaki shared a worried glance and helpless shrug as the archer continued giggling.

Bobbi's face was turning an interesting combination of shades: bright red from blushing, and blue from lack of air. The line that killed her was the bit about Zell's a**. She barely noticed as her knees hit the pavement, and she curled up in a little ball, pounding one fist against the ground as she tried, and failed, to get a breath past her gales of laughter. Only an occasional squeak assured any onlookers that she was able to get any semblance of a breath at all.

Zell backed away a step from the psychotic archer, shooting a worried, or possibly terrified, look to Joe.

"Okay, this is starting to get creepy. Are all the girls from Earth this weird?"

"Nope just me I assure you."

The severe lack of oxygen to her brain was forcing Bobbi back into a state of near-coherency. She coughed a few times and thumped her chest with a fist to help get her lungs back in working order, then got to her feet.

"I'm, um, I'm not sure," Bobbi admitted, sort of coughing as she spoke. "I don't recognize his voice, and I can't see him very clearly. But I'm pretty sure it's Louis? Maybe? He doesn't seem to know his own name, so it's hard for me to tell."
