Now that I know I'm not the only one who worries about Gaia's gifting system, I thought I should post this, received a few days ago

So this event I am confused for once. 1 send letters.. 2 wtf do we do from there. I have tried to send letters for a few days now and it says I have done nothing for days of helping. I am a mad santa!

So this event I am confused for once. 1 send letters.. 2 wtf do we do from there. I have tried to send letters for a few days now and it says I have done nothing for days of helping. I am a mad santa!

The event has 3 parts.
First, sending letters seems to only effect your forum title, but it may have a payout come christmas day.

Ranking:
1. Rookie Elf 0-1 letters

2. Santa's Little Helper 2-3 letters

3. Hall Decker 4-5 letters

4. Eggnog Spiker 6-7 letters

5. Santa's Medium Helper 8-15 letters

6. Sugarplum Ace 16-31 letters

7. Master of Merriment 32-63 letters

8. Santa's Gigantic Helper 64-??? letters

Second, there is elf-bribing/baiting. Get a mod-played Elf NPC to give you a Santa's toy sack.

Third, each day there is a scavenger hunt to gather items to help Santa from where you earn your event items.

There is also the ubiquitous caroling in shops.

So sending out mass letters only counts as one.. Good job gaia! burning_eyes

Out of all of Gaia's retardation though, this one makes some sense. The mass letters are not unique, so they only count as one unique letter. Still stupid and inefficient though.

I'm going to buy the sack instead, now that the overpriced item had dropped drastically from 1m gg (are the sellers insane) to 10k gg. I'm just going to wait until it drops further.

word to the wise. when making gingerbread houses do not eat every little piece of frosting that falls onto the pan or falls off the house. you will get a tummy ache.
LOL. mac and i made a gingerbread house last night and i made the frosting a little too stiff. i got it to work but we munched on quite a bit and man was i sick. was fun though.

on the 35th day of christmas my true love gave to me. 35 loafs of banana bread.

Yeah, it is fairly nice an item, but a little inflexible in use. So more of a 5k thing.

Um...stupid question: do we wait to open the gifts on 25th, or just when they arrive? How are you doing it?

I'm sorry - I should have mentioned that it's completely up to you. You can open right away or you can wait until Christmas. xd I know people have different schedules and may not be online on certain days.
