My parents are actually coming down Saturday for my father's birthday.
But I should be able to make the meet on Sunday hopefully.
Thankfully the Tournaments are over for the time being.

I requested the day off in the bleak hopes I'd get it. I'm one of those who plead on paper to give me Easter (Make all those talented and YOUNG and skilled front line learn grill instead. We could always use more prisoners of war.), but never actually see it.
Monday..I'd hoped for. Saturday? I was the last on that particular day to request it and the manager has given days to people who never asked. I did get next Saturday off though..I'm thrilled biggrin

Considering all the meets are set to PST time anyway, I figured I'd leave it in PST.
EDIT: I downloaded that Viovox thing so I may actually be able to hear you all, even if you can't hear me. Just gotta find a guide now.. EDIT 2: Helping out a fellow employee who's been denied hours. May get this Saturday as well, but I'm not holding my breath. -.-;

Donno. I blame hatred of hiring related kin. I know someone else who was denied hours a week before prom as well and she has family who is employed there as well. Absolutely no hours for her, and the kin I'm donating my 5 hours to was forgotten. Again. Hasn't yet learned why this keeps happening as he never contacts the managers in charge in scheduling to find out why.
At this point, I'm telling him to either report those in charge to the store owner or face the ones involved themselves and get real answers. I'm tired of seeing both the neglect of the employee and the lack of motivation from said employee to find out why. The well of sympathy is running dry. stare
