Just work; work never changes. Thus, I've been getting into the bad habit of just getting on the computer to check my anime some days, as that helps me relax.

I can relate. Seems monotonous, and while some security is there, it also can be somewhat numbing. The same thing in and out of each day . . .

Yeah... I'm going to be offline this weekend. Was supposed to have all of next week as vacation, but I have too much to do to be able to take the time off. Still, I'll make what I can of the weekend and then drive home.

Do take care, good sir. You are important to me as a trusted friend.
My free time seems to be dwindling between work and now my freelance work as well.

good.
Fiverr is steady, there is rarely a day of the week now that I don't have a gig expecting delivery. The time is set to 4 days for delivering a given task, so I can work around my schedule. Unfortunately, at $4 profit per task, I am not making much money yet.

Hopefully your track record will let you raise your rate and you'll get into a pattern allowing you to do the work faster. smile

That is the hope, yes. I was going to wait until the first of October to raise my rates, but perhaps I will do it a tad sooner.

On a place like Fiverr, having higher rates speaks to your quality and may help get you more work.

I haven't had a day in two weeks that didn't have an order waiting to be filled. Trust me, word is getting out about my wordsmithing ability.
Beginning to wonder if that is a good thing! sweatdrop

To a certain degree. You can limit your queue to accept only as many at a given time as you are comfortable with, with the option of allowing repeat customers to make orders regardless.
Unfortunately, I found that the site does not charge a dollar per job, it is 20%. I upped my price to $10 on a test to see if I can make more money, and the site is only giving me $8 profit. Its the same as doing two five dollar jobs, and that is upsetting. We will see if the raised prices become a problem.

Yeah, that kind of incentivizes the quick jobs, with quantity beating quality. But, of course, that earns them more money faster, so they have no reason to be any more ethical than that.
Didn't want to but ended up watching the debate anyway. Politics...

Haven't gotten a peep since I raised the price to ten . . . seems people are not interested in my quality. Just the cheap.
I'm only watching some highlights, it's a garbage fire. No matter who wins, we lose.
