Sky releases Pride. "And my choice was rather obvious, as well." He smiles, sips the drink again, and waits. Pride stands three feet ahead of him, in a stance both intense and gentle.

"Haha OK. Since Pride is the faster one. He will go first." Richy said as Corphish got ready.

"Right, then. Start as usual, Pride. You know the first steps." The Absol looks straight at Corphish, seeming to grin with confidence. Pride uses Swords Dance.

Although his previous move was cancelled out, Sky says nothing. Pride rushes towards Corphish and attacks with Megahorn.

"Corphish use X-Scissor!" Richy said as Corphish was hit by the Megahorn, then retaliated with X-Scissor.

Pride took the hit hard, but retaliated quickly with Thunder. Sky loudly prompts, "Okay, good! Now wait for my order!" Pride steps back a bit.

"Corphish use Protect!" Richy said as Corphish protected itself from the Thunder.

Pride viciously calls forth another ray of Thunder!

Corphish was hit by the Thunder, but still stood there. "Superpower Corphish!" Richy said as Corphish ran in for the attack.

Pride tries to avoid it, but is pummeled anyways. It looks back at Sky, who nods. The Absol uses Night Slash.

Corphish was hit by the Night Slash and could barely stand. "OK Corphish use Brick Break." Richy said as Corphish went at Pride, hoping to finish the battle.

The attack hits dead on. Pride could take no more. But it thought it could still win. The Absol summons another Thunder attack without waiting for orders, but misses by a long stretch. Having expended it's last touch of energy, the pokemon collapses. Sky returns Pride in silence, then drinks the rest of his slurpee as if unaffected by his loss.
Seconds later, he suddenly breaks into laughter, "That was great, man! And you too, Corphish. It takes a lot to bring down Pride. He's probably wishing that right now he could tell you he's just having an off day, or something funny like that."

"Haha thanks. Me and Corphish don't give up, til someone drops." Richy said as him and Corphish jumped around in excitement. "You and Pride did good as well." He said smiling a bit. "Alright, see ya later!" He said as he returned Corphish then went into a treehouse he found and went to sleep.
