Chloe Lockheart Bakasensei Cross Chloe Lockheart Bakasensei Cross Chloe Lockheart Bakasensei Cross He had a hard time controlling himself, now. She was so close to him, it was a repeat of everything he had just told her. He felt a special connection to Chloe, just like he had with Veronica. It was almost too much to bear, and he was about to pull away, when a thought crossed his mind.
Maybe...if I just made a move...What do I have to lose? I've opened myself to her. There's no going back now.
He went on his impulse and wrapped both arms tightly around her body, and buried his face in her hair. He didn't want to lose this time. He was lucky to have met her. She was different, and this time he was going to hold on.
"Chloe..."
"Yes, Cross?" She whispers to him, wondering what he had to say. She felt comfortable right now, his arms around her made her feel safe and warm. She let out a small, almost unnoticed content sigh.
This is Fight or Flight...and I'm fighting for it. ((@Allen: Night Night. o3o ))
This time it will be different.
He kissed her for a bit longer before pulling back and putting his face in her hair once more, moving his hand from her neck. He reached behind his head and grabbed her wrist and pulled her hand into his chest. Stroking it lightly with his fingers, he spoke softly in her ear.
"Please stay with me, Chloe," There was the tiniest hint of a plea in his voice.
Please don't go away
"Stay...with you...." She repeated, her voice slightly airy.
A million thoughts raced in her head, she was tempted, extremely tempted to stay with Cross...but...there was always that lingering feeling.
what about.. She shook her head lightly, getting rid of the thought in her head. He...h..he's not around here when I need him....Cross....was.... Her mind continued to reel.
"Please, stay with me, Chloe," He spoke softly into her ear again, his lips brushing against it. His heart felt like it was bubbling, but also as though it was constricted. His chest felt tight, as he realized he needed more than anything for her to say yes. He squeezed her hand tightly, starting to shake a little again. His breaths were long inhales and slightly shuddering exhales. He squeezed her hand tighter still and steadied himself again. The wait for her answer was almost unbearable. But it was at least better than her automatically saying no. This meant she was thinking about it.
