Raises the chance you get a critical hit. If you play your cards right, you can have a pokemon that has a 50% chance of landing a critical hit with each attack.
And that Metapod was an a*****e with that Spacial Rend. D:<
But.. I only know Absol and Honchkrow that have that ability..

Yeah. xD
But most people call the luck clause on ya. So you can't have the 50% guy. Because Razor Claw and all that jazz are banned.
Great thing about the game though.. no team is perfect or unbeatable. :3
EDIT: Speaking of which. I just lost the game..

******** you and your metapod, Tentae. xD
I personally don't mind using stat increases like Critical Hits, other than Evasion.

lol it wasn't mine xD
I don't even have a problem with evasion raising either. I think that clause takes away a perfectly good strategy from the game.
I mean.. it's legal for me to bulk up my pokemon with cosmic power, which is pretty much the same principal. It's just, people allow the double teamer to perform more double teams. Once I see that move I keep attacking until I make contact and take the thing down.
I realize some people are dicks and have walls with double team.. which is just plain dumb. That's a waste of a move slot. Double team is for more fragile pokemon like Raichu. So he can Volt Tackle and then Wish himself back to full life. But is fragile enough to be taken out in one good hit.
But a Bronzong with double team.. or an Umbreon with Double team.. that's low.
Although, I do have the latter.. for baton passing purposes only. hmm... I s'pose I'm a d**k.

Cheap? xD
I hate when it's used against me. So I rarely, if ever use that in casual battles. But sometimes you want to try somethin' new.
EDIT: Jer: Yeah.. that's the only thing I hate about that spot.. Goldeen are more common than Seaking.. if anyone can think of a better location to find pokemon that give 2 attack ev's. I'd be mighty thankful for the info.

It is cheap. It's a reason I don't do it either. But, then again, it would be a reason for a lot more Pokémon to use Haze or Odor Sleuth or Foresight.

Hell yeah, I have a Haze carrying pokemon for just such a situation.
Funny how I rarely use her because of her Borderline tier.
Jer: Heh awesome. I hope it ends up bein' a tough contender.

I hope you used some vitamins to help with that, and the Power Items. And Pokerus.
