lol it seems like that when a Barrioth (one of them) charges me most of the time even online when there are 3 other perfectly good targets or when a Rathian only tries to eat me over the others in the group. lol

Well. When it comes to party stuff like that, a lot of the big creatures will have an intelligence so.
They usually go after who draws the highest threat. At the start, that is whoever has the biggest weapon.
They then go after whoever is causing the most damage. Still usually the guy with the huge weapon.
Some creatures though are supposed to be dead set threats and for instance will go after range guys first regardless of anyone else in the party.

The thing is I don't have the biggest weapon and in the case of Barrioth most of the time I can't hit him much at all. Rathian is about the same but I know I can hit it just I don't hit it the most or do the most damage normally.

hello everyone! this is my seventh period check in since i have no internet at home....*sigh*... any luck with sands?
nice fight btw. we should be fine on characters since we have another active guild member? hopefully hopefully?
i need my internet back so that i can not bore my opponents with one a day posts and no weekend posts.....i mean....the weekend is when guild activity should be picking up....and i don't wish to spoil that.

Do you approach them first or front or are you closer to the back??? lol majority of the time i am to their side and I don't think the code is crap. I think it is more they pick a target out of the party and focus on them a bit more than others. Since often times they will completely stop attacking the people up close and go right for the gunner who is far away. I do meet them first about half the time. So ye I think think they just pick a target and have a habit of changing their minds. That plus my bad luck equals a bad combo lol. Aria you do need your internet back soon lol we all miss you
