Sky nods in agreement to the first statement, but now the Lab has snatched his attention. "I see... So it's sort of a private thing. I'll have to look into that. The Lab at Rocket fascinated me, but back then I didn't really have the smarts to get involved." He stretches his arms out and laughs, "Man, it sure is nice to be back in the underground, in any case. Nine-to-five life is terribly boring!"

"No, its not private. Everyone goes in there, just only Dark works in there." Richy said with a small laugh.

"Oh, I see. Do you know if he's open to other people working in there?" Sky questions.
A proud Absol struts in throgh the door. Sky shouts, "Buddy! Where've you been?" the Absol rushes over to Sky, who feeds it a poketreat and pets it's head. He looks at Richy, "This is Pride. Handsome fellow, isn't he!"

"I think he wont mind." Richy said as he looked at the Absol that came into the room. "Hello Pride." He said smiling at the Absol.

Sky replies, "I'd hope not, but I'll make sure to ask, first. After taking another drink, he explains, "Pride may seem like an odd name to you, but he's a remnant of an experiment we began in the Team Rocket Labs before they closed down... No harm came to them. In fact they were treated exceedingly well, most of them. I'm continuing tests on the couple I managed to keep, at least the ones it seemed healthy for." Sky continues to pet the Absol affectionately. The Pokemon was content, and evidently quite used to this special treatment.

After finishing off the slurpee, Sky answers, "Well, he's one heck of a cocky b*****d, to start. He's the kind of Pokemon that makes extra efforts to win a battle without getting itself dirty, and look fancy. In his own mind, he's the biggest dog on the block."
Pride hisses.
Sky laughs and corrects himself, "Oh, yes. Of course you're not a dog! It's a figure of speech, silly!"
The Absol is still irritated, but seems satisfied by the answer. He holds his head high and brushes the ground with his rear paws.

"Heheheh.... Yup. This one's sure a handful." Sky laughs and pets Pride again. He then stands up, walks ti the kitchen to refill his slurpee canteen with Root Beer slurpee, and sits back in the same place.

Richy goes into the kitchen and mixes up many flavors for his slurpee then comes back to his spot on the couch and drinks the slurpee.

"So, I'm kinda behind on Team Aqua history and stuff. What are you all working towards right now?" Sky asks, just looking for a topic. Pride crawls up on his lap and sits down. Sky exhales harshly due to the initial weight of his friend.
