Nyl rose from her chair, bowing to all the occupants of the kitchen. "If you'll excuse me...I have to meet a student." It felt good to say that, even if the student in question wasn't learning ijutsu.
She headed back through the dojo and out the back door, smiling at Iri.
"Well?"

She was unexpecting that after everything he would have heard and she smiled knowing she still had Seph on her side even in this.

Iri looks at Nyl with a bright smile. She's glad to see her instructor again. "Would you like me to begin? Or is something else in order first?"
Already Iri's chakra is rising to the surface, summoning currents of to her. She's ready for a green light.

"Well, I hope all the important one's are." He said, forking some chicken onto his plate. He moved back to the table and began to eat, remembered to swallow before speaking, and said, "Other than that, what have you been up to?"

She nodded at that , her eyes tired and she saw him acting strange and she just nodded to him and walked out . She let out a sigh and went to her room as fast as she could and collapsed on the ground too tired for anything else.

"Killing my family." he says in a conversational tone. "Since I got back though, Fenris has been teaching me." He looks in the pot then pauses, then goes to the fridge and pulls out a piece of raw meat and begins to cut it up trying not to waist any of the juices or blood. He puts this in a bowl with the none meat parts of Neko's dish.

Iri gives Nyl a nod of a response. Then she closes her eyes and takes a calming breath. The air starts to become infused with her chakra. Once she feels enough has been released, Iri kind of shuts off the flow of energy. After that, it's just a matter of bending the emitted chakra and the gathered air currents to her will. The mixture begins to form a swift cyclone around Iri's body and condenses at the same time. As usual, her problem is that her chakra attracts air and doesn't stop attracting it. So as more air comes at her, she just adds it to the cyclone and keeps it condensed into a manageable form. She also makes a point of steadily increasing the speed of the air.

Without warning her - that was part of the point, after all - Nyl threw three ice kunai at the barrier. They weren't aimed well at all, though, in case Iri's barrier couldn't deflect them.

He nodded casually. It wasn't that Seph wasn't paying attention. He knew and understood everything Zyph had said. But Seph understood that some people have different missions in life. Revenge is one of those, and revenge is a potent source of emotion, and emotion was Ho Incarnate.
Besides, Seph had made questionable decisions in his life. If he started judging other people, that pendulum would swing back his way sooner than later.

Iri's not too surprised at Nyl's actions. She hadn't predicted what she was going to do by any means, but it makes sense at the moment. And that's why her concentration doesn't go out the window. As it is, she only condenses the barrier further and speeds it up. The result is watching the three kunai get knocked off course and spin away. What Iri has there would probably be around the speed of a weak tornado, though thoroughly condensed in form, and would be enough to defend against kunai.
