Snowman! heart *gluggles!*
Weeeellllll..... It's been forever since I've done any forum roleplaying... I've got a friend (very rarely two) that I do IM stuff with... We've got, like, 6 RP's going on that we just pick one or two for a week or so to work on and hop around between... (We're doing an X-Men themed one right now, but mostly with OC's)
Hmm... Last of Us world... Mutants... Natural mutants, chemical-caused-related mutants? Also... mutant world? Mutated creatures?
...Or I can just stop hopping around and wait for you to make it and see?

No pressure at all, DTT. Just was curious was all. and I can respect you wanting to see what was going on before committing.
Oh, and I vastly prefer OCs in any situation. I don't wanna pretend to be another guy- I wanna be MY guy!

I normally do, too, but sometimes my creative juices can only do so much on their own... and while my regular RP partner is amazing <333... I do a lot of the plotting and bouncing. whee
So sometimes other characters, or borrowed, worlds, help keep things a-flowin'.

Hironobu Sakaguchi, creator of Final Fantasy, is teasing a new console game. More to come by year end.

Well, he did Final Fantasy, and then he did Last Story. So, I'm thinking probably Last Story 2.

"final" fantasy. "Last" story. I am seeing a trend.
Yes, I know why it was called Final fantasy, but it is too good to not poke fun at. emotion_dowant

Yeah, it's just funny that Last Story did seem like his last since he's been doing mobile games ever since. Glad to have the master back soon, though.
Pre-ordered Bravely Second, the sequel to Bravely Default. So nice to see traditional JRPGs still being made.

I honestly enjoy turn-based combat. Real time can get so hectic that I lose my mind at times. Especially on very fast-paced games.
perfect example: FNAF World.

I agree. I don't like when designers or those w/ a name in the industry make proclamations about turn-based combat not making sense and such. it simply isn't true, and they cause a lot of harm since many take them at their word (which is the audience's problem more than the speaker's, but still).

that makes me think of hte recent surge in kickstarter games. The big triple-a game companies are convinced we won't buy certain types of games, and thus refuse to make them. Meanwhile, kickstarters are made by game developers that do want to make these games and get funded in record times. As players, we want these genres . . . and saying they don't have a place in current markets is shortsighted and wrong.
