With help from Xatu, I hoist the high-density pokemon (Larvitar) into the jet. My bird returns to her pokeball as I climb into the pilot's seat. Then, if Adam has his own transportation, I take off after Brian.

On the approach to Pallet, the jet's scanners pick up the castle's energy readings.
"Okay, that's not supposed to be there," I say when the ediface comes into view, "Time for a demon hunt."
With so little room in town, I bring the jet down on Route 21 and park on the beach.

The courtyard gate swings open silently. A sharply dressed figure stands in the opening and addresses the team. Welcome, welcome to my castle. My name is Atreyu. Is this all of you? Somehow I thought the Great Team Aqua would send more trainers to stop me. That is, after all, how you managed to defeat the other demons, is it not? Sheer strength of numbers?
Perhaps I should thank you for simplifying the war of succession for me. But rest assured, I will not be slain so easily. For I have many subjects at my disposal, and they are all eager to cut short your lives. Once you have been removed, the rest of my fellow demons will fall to my blade. And I shall be crowned King!
Minions, attack! On his order, a horde of Ghost-type pokemon appear from the shadows and surround the team, and he dissolves into a cloud of mist.

"So, how many do you think there are?" I ask as a Gastly rushes at Xatu. She easily swats it down with a Psychic.
"Enough that I can't take them all alone!"
"Right. Shiftry, you're up!" My pokemon deftly knocks out a Duskull that was approaching from behind. Gotta love Faint Attack.

Larvitar does a back-flip, throwing a Pokeball down on the ground as Ginji's Kadabra appears and protects them with a Light Screen. Larvitar looked at the Gastly and Duskull with great anger before throwing several rocks at them, producing a Rock Slide that crashed down. Duckull and Gastly attacked with combined Night Shade, doing minimum damage to Ginji's Pokemon.
With a powerful aura, Kadabra attacked with Psychic, taking Duskull out and making it disappear swiftly as it had come. Larvitar attacked the other with a Bite, causing it to disappear also in a puff of purple gasses.

~Sanctus Espiritus... Maddy made sure to blast off a bunch of the weaker Ghosts with a quick black and purple flame wave attack. She then whipped out Ismene's Pokeball and released the Shelgon. The little dragon rushed forward and caught a nearby Banette by surprise, biting the Ghost Pokemon with much force. Banette fired a glob of shadows at Ismene, freeing itself from the dragon's maw. Ismene growled with anger and released a steady stream of golden fire upon her foe, proud of the resulting screams of pain. Banette released a quick shock wave of electricity, Ismene getting struck by the incredibly fast attack. She countered by pumping her foe with a powerful torrent of water, knocking it out.
A Haunter approached next, but Ismene knew what to do. Flames flew everywhere as she released a deadly and well-aimed Draco Meteor attack, KO'ing the Haunter already.
Ismene was too tired to move as her next foe, a Gengar, approached. It finished Ismene off a Psychic attack. Maddy recalled Ismene and then brought out Giratina, deciding to give the Legendary a try. Giratina's claws glowed with shadow energy, and it took out the Gengar with one mighty swipe. Maddy blinked a couple times and then recalled Giratina. She waited for the others.... Redeem us from our solemn hour~

*I put a Choice Band on Aerodactyl*
Me: Let's clean this mess.
*A Gengar pops out of my Shadow*
Me: Cute. Crunch it.
*Aerodactyl goes and bites down hard on Gengar, causing it great pain*
*Gengar responds with a Thunderbolt, and Aerodactyl can barely keep aloft*
Me: Keep it going.
*Aerodactyl hits Gengar, and Gengar goes down*
*A Dusknoir then comes at me*
Me: Well here we go again.
*Aerodactyl Crunches down hard on Dusknoir, dealing great damage*
*Dusknoir then does a Shadow Ball, that KOs Aerodactyl*
Me: You did a good job. Return.
*Aerodactyl disappears in a pale red light*
Me: Now Gyrados go!
*Gyrados comes out and Intimidates Dusknoir*
Me: Now Bite.
*Gyrados bites down and KOs Dusknoir*
*A Shedinja shows up*
Me: Now this is just too easy. Bite.
*The dead bug goes down*

After several minutes of intense fighting, It seems like most of the ghosts near me have been defeated. Xatu and Shiftry are worn down, and I even had to assist with my own attacks near the end.
"Take a rest you two. No telling how many more are lurking nearby, or what else Atreyu has in store for us." I return my pokemon and look around warily.
