After what seemed like hours, Fate's sobs slowed to hushed weeping. She sat up, looking like a total wreck. Her eyes were as red around the outsides as their crimson colour inside. She rubbed her palms over them and her cheeks. Her apartment was cold. She needed someone..Jaden, Wes, Mortis, Anne, Marishka, anybody..except Silver. These things are best dealt with alone.. But I'm not accostomed to being alone any longer. It was true. Yet another adjustment was necessary, and Fate knew it. She sighed and slipped out of her trench coat. "..But..why..?" And some questions are better left unanswered. Don't go getting any bazaar thoughts in that tiny cranium of yours. But..what do I have to live for? Nothing right now..But life as you know is has not ended. You're still alive, so you have to keep going. There's a reason for everything. Fate was alone all her life. Why should now be any different? The thought was accurate. Life as she knew it recently was not over, life as she had once known it just took the wheel again for a while..That's all it was.
Feeling a little comfort, Fate laid back down on the couch. She was still fully clothed, her trench over the back of the couch. A small yawn escaped her. A cat nap couldn't hurt a thing right now.

Dark smiled,"So Zero was that guy I sensed earlier....go figure....he was the same one who burned down the warehouse I was in for three hundred years..."Dark kept fidgeting with his piercing and it glowed in the moonlight.

Sabrina nodded. "Yes, Zero was to be my husband. But then he must have found out about my little kiss with Cyrus and the promise I made to Danny so he ended it.....It doesnt matter though....I'm a quick healer and I always learn to move on."

Zero walks infront of the appartments and stops starring at them...then sighs. Zero suddenly is knocked to the ground. Zero turns and sees an Oni demon.
"I hear you're looking for a death sentence"says the demon
"Yeah, but I'm not going to let some over grown imp take it easily"he says coldly....Zero stands up and smirks, he was ready for anything now...
"Ok, then I'll beat the s**t out of you, then I'll kill you"says the demon....he charges Zero and strikes him in the face knocking him against the wall of the appartments...
Zero looks at the demon, his lip and eye brow busted wide open, blood was pouring out."Damn that one hurt"he says....Zero hits the demon in the face. The demon just smirks and hits him again, this time knocking the hood of the cloak off, reveiling Zero's fox ears....
"Aw look at the little foxy"says the demon as he beats the s**t out of Zero..
Zero falls to his knees, coughing up blood and bleeding severely....Zero couldn't move he knew what was comming next as the demon pulls out his giant sword."Untill The Day We Are Reborn"he whispers weakly...
The demon raises the blade up.......

Danny hears a fight in the hall...
Sabrina, I'll be right back... says Danny...
Danny comes up behind the Oni attacking Zero and grabs the arm he has reared back...
I humbly suggest that you leave says Danny to the Oni.

The demon ignores Danny and drives the blade into Zero's sholder.....
Zero screams in pain, now unable to move at all and his body loosing blood very quickly, Zero just relaxes and waits for the pain to end...
The demon smiles, then drives his claws into Zero's thigh...
Zero screams in pain again, this time much louder......
The demon pulls out a lighter and cigar, lights the cigar and starts puffing on it..then takes out a dull dagger.....
Zero knew the demon was going to torture him.......

Sabrina heard the screams. She ran down the hall of her apartment and looked out in the hall way. She gasped and covered her mouth with her hand.

Dark walked into the hall his katana in hand,knowing he would regret this later,he pulled out the katana and moved faster than anyone could see he had slit the oni's throat,"We asked you to leave....now go before I kill you.."he said coldly and shiethed his katana blood running down the oni's neck.
