I find myself wanting to watch Code Geass again. A good show, at least the first half. The second was not as good, but still watchable. By then, you are invested.

That reminds me, the Code Geas creators are working on something new: http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2015/08/23-1/gor-taniguchi-and-akihiko-higuchi-create-new-manga-atrail

Not sure how I feel about that. Mostly ambivalence, but yeah.

*follows link, reads list of games*
*shrugs and walks away*
I feel much of that is overhyped, but do not discount that it may simply be my lack of interest.

@Magni: I can understand, as these titles have been on Steam for ages.
Bethesda (and thus id) finally going DRM-free is fantastic, b/c they have been very resistant to the idea in the past. I already the Morrowind, Oblivion, & the Elder Scrolls Anthology, but I am always willing to pay for Morrowind again given the ~1,000 hours I have put into it since I was 12.

I was interested by Aquatica on steam, which seemed interesting but still nowhere near complete. The idea of having to navigate an ocean world, pulling together enough parts for equipment, submarines, underwater bases, stopping the radtation from your crashed ship and evading or fighting hostile sealife.

@Magni: New games are rarely if ever instabuy for me. I waited >2 months for Splatoon. The exception to this policy is GOG's re-releases of old games I used to own/play that they got working on modern systems again (including ports, like the recently-released Grandia 2). GOG games like those are rarely over $20, so I don't spend too much on games. August was just a busy month. xp
@Skreemer: I haven't seen that one. Not a fan of Early Access, though.

The new Transformers game coming out in a couple months looks good to me, but I am biased.

It looks fantastic, especially since it brings back G1 designs. Platinum keeps pumping out amazing action games (Vanquish, Bayonetta, Metal Gear Rising Revengeance). Then again, it shouldn't be a surprise since they are the remnant of Capcom's Clover Studio (Viewtiful Joe, Okami).

My favourite Transformers game was that one on the PS2. Even as hard as it was. Fighting against that giant decepticon on the ocean level felt rewardingly tough. Capcom.... they just seem to be committing slow commercial suicide.

That battleship level was a toy and character in the show at the time. His name was Tidal Wave, and his toy was rather unique. Yes, the colors are off, but the toy mold is the same. even references the game.
Capcom is trying to make a comeback- at least they aren't #******** class="quote">Wishful Lily * Gluggles the crap outta Lily* HI!!!!
