Oh I see Gregar. That makes perfect sense to me now. So apparently, all of our kages are idiots who would teach their village styles to untrustworthy people who would teach anyone the style and weaken the village greatly. Having a rule about something like that is an insult to each of our kages intelligence and a nuisance to the role-play. Not to mention that Lance is letting bb learn his Dance of the Thunder Gods weapon style and that isn't listed as a universal style, so I can hardly believe that he is being as uptight about this as you are.

Gregar828 iSix-kun Think for a second here greg. NUMEROUS TIMES I have told you that to guard against that you need to try before you just say no. Use a FIGURE for each style. A master that decides who can and can't learn a style in the village after The kage has approved it. We aren't saying that everyone WILL use it. I'm trying to tell you that you shouldn't limit that. When I chose my village I didn't decide based on styles cuz they are all good. I know for a fact you have to have been the only person who did this. And on the note of you saying I am wrong no I'm not. This is ridiculous. I could care less about your position honestly. This isn't a well done system and it should be changed. Your so sure that your right when mostly everyone around you says your wrong. You aren't King Solomon alright, and neither is lance. IF an ENTIRE KINGDOM tells the king and his follower that they are wrong they can't be right. Huh, I was not aware that four people was a "Kingdom." Maybe we'll consider it. For now, Deal with it. I'm sure that most people just don't want to see a huge Greg rant about how great a mod he is and how his word is law. But I don't care that you think that, you simply aren't right. Hey guess what else. Mistah is a vc too. He has just as much power as you do, and more respect if you ask a lot of people, and even he thinks it's wrong. And for the record, your whole thing about you being "The only member to go from member to VC, here's some trivia. SO DID MISTAH. So where you're getting this dictator notion from is beyond me but you need to step down from the pedastal and LISTEN to what we are saying instead of picking out only what you can defend against and ignoring the rest ya dig?

ENOUGH.
Seriously, I get up in the morning, come look at my village chat, and find this? You can argue it all you want, but Greg is right. Yes, it's a pain to not be able to march into someone else's village and demand training, but the fact of the matter is, they wouldn't teach you anyways.
"Oh hey, this guy's been hanging around helping us out for awhile, and is asking to learn one of our secret taijutsu styles, we don't know anything about him, and he's obviously just been trying to get access to the style, but hey, let's give it to him!"
You tell me which side of the matter makes the kage look stupid.
The only way someone would legitimately be able to learn another village's style, is if someone from that village learned the style, betrayed the village, and started teaching it to people.
~
Now, I would also kindly recommend you stop fighting with Greg over his rights as VC. Because really, I don't think you want to see what rights a VC actually has in action. And even if Mistah does have the same title as Greg, Greg is still the #2 in this guild, meaning he does in fact have more power than Mistah.
So please, drop this idiotic argument. All you're doing is making yourselves look like idiots. There is good reason for everything we have in place, like it or not. And just because one person doesn't like it, does not mean it's going to change. Quite often, there will even be things nobody likes that will still not be changed. Taxes anybody?

Hinote who do you think you are talking to? And I say this not as a VC but as a regular person speaking to you man to man. Don't call me an idiot and furthermore, don't insult other people in this guild by calling them an idiot. It just makes you look like an a*****e.
Quite frankly I don't care about that number two crap because even if Lance was saying something like this I'd still be saying that I don't agree with it. I don't care about power or whatever, if I don't agree with something I'm going to make it known just like I always have. I'm just speaking on how silly such a rule is. And once again I will say the same thing I said to Greg. I'd like to think that our kages are NOT idiots and that they would be careful and strategic about such things and not do things that would jeopardize their whole village, otherwise, they wouldn't have been made kage. Though apparently, you must not think the same way I do. Since not only do you seem to think that our kages are idiots, you think that I and everyone else is spoke in opposition to Greg is an idiot.

That's the problem of the person that is doing the teaching, if the Kage lets the person learn the style, it's not really your problem. Quote: You tell me which side of the matter makes the kage look stupid. The fact that Greg said that sharing the styles is dumb, you don't know the reasons the Kage might have to do so. This could serve as ransom or a trade off between villages, similar to what was going to happen to my Rpc just after the exams, but, Zane returned and interrupted it. And I also agree with Mistah.

Kay, give it a rest, I like Hinote/Greg's God-complex. All you are doing is getting them mad, and a mad Greg isn't something I wish on a sunday. Yes, they are wrong about it, but, Greg said it himself, Lance was the one that made the rule himself, unless a great majority of the guild says they want it that way ( Hint hint ) they aren't gonna change it, and even if they do want to change it, it's gonna be pretty hard.

No that wasn't very nice of either of you, Greg, and Hinote. I believe there is a rule, technically #10, in BIG BOLD LETTERS that says something like: NO DOUCHEBAGGERY! Frankly, I feel like you've both broken this rule. Perhaps it'd be a good idea to threaten yourselves with the Ougun, perhaps deflate your heads a bit. If there is an event such as this that is causing this much of a problem, there is obviously a FRIGGIN PROBLEM. Perhaps revising the problem would be a good idea, rather than insulting people and throwing around your rank. We are trying to have a discussion that is affecting a few people, and we can't get anywhere because of people not wanting to be a tad open-minded? So friggin what if a village wants to teach an outsider THEIR style? It's up to THEM to do so. If THEY fail it's on THEM, not YOU guys to worry about. I sincerely, honestly, with all my heart feel like NO ONE is going to teach everyone in POTS their styles. If there happens to be a special case, say oh, student had a teacher who was the master of a style, but the master disappeared, then yes, we should be able to trade styles freely. Again, if it is our downfall, so be it. That's called life, even if it is in RP.
And to you Akura, I don't really want a Greg or Hinote rant, but I'm going ahead with this anyway, because I am personally being insulted and shut down for no good reason.

@ Kay: I'm not afraid of them...There is a difference between fear and respect.
@ Jade: Neither do I, this isn't a rant against them, it's a rant against the rule.

If a rule is out of date or not efficient, then it should be repealed. If that isn't true, I know quite a few people in the guild who would still be rather oppressed in the United States.
