The purple-skinned elf brushed his hair out of his face, it seemed a lot longer now that he had it straightened and he was still getting used to his natural blue; it had bee dyed white for so long. He took a sip of the smoothie he had made for himself before coming into the meeting and waited for the major to continue the details of the assignment.

The major smiled "Ah, you catch on quite easily, Mr. Mitsukai" he said then turning to pen.
"As do you, Ms. Higgens! Major Gallows and Major Aguirre-Cheverria as well as Captains Syn and Trance very much influenced our decision to go with the black ops: One, because we know the job will be done and done right because we know their as well as all of your reputations and two, because we know about your little brushes with us at the military, including destroying a whole military facility, and we know that you wll be obliged to help your country" he said.

Luciano clenched his jaw and he said, correcting the Major, "If you read my file, you would know I ranked as a Commander during the Race war- A rank I earned both because my superior died, and because of my good decision making, 'Sir'. ."
Luciano folded his arms, and then he looked up at the Major, "And what if we refuse to help you?"

The major kept his smile "I believe your commanding officer can tell you that" he said.
Skotti spoke "This is not a mission for the gaian military guys, this is from the don himself, this is officially kuro gang business. If we refuse the job, not only will we be fined and imprisoned by the military, even if we escaped, we would come back to find ourselves on both the military's and on the family's personal hit list, you all know the price of betraying the family" said skotti very seriously.

Koji was caught slightly off guard. I didn't think I was talking that loud.. He folded his arms behind his head as he continued to lean back. After frowning a little at not being able to get out of it, he dropped the chair back on all four feet and leaned forward with his forearms resting on his legs. "Regardless of how absurd it sounds, I don't think we really have a choice." He said with a sigh, then continued to ask. "What exactly is it that we have to do anyway?"

Skotti sighed at luc's normal hard-headedness "Luciano... One, I got the call and mission specs from lucia personally, two, I have not even explained the bloody mission yet" he said.
Skotti hit a button that lt up the projector "Now, what the kuros are asking us to do, Luciano, is a rescue mission of a recent defected scientist that has emailed us pictures of this..." said skotti, hitting a button and switching the slide. The projector displayed blueprints of what looked like a super tank.
"this is the Verex-49k nuclear tank system, code named the 'V-Rex'. the mission is to get in, save our scientist, and get out with few to no casualties." said the major.

Sabe looked up at the blueprint being displayed as he listened to Skotti and the major go on about the mission. Waffle looked simply inattentive.

She had briefly raised her eyes to the screen, and had merely snorted. When we get back, I'll start that little project. A leave that piece of nuclear waste wanna-be where it belongs.

Skotti turned to the next slide of a map "This is the plan, We will land in the Raikovian jungle by helicopter and then head through until we reach a bridge. From that bridge we will head straight through to the abandoned research facility where igor is being held by the RKG, the Raikov special forces. Like tom said, little to no casualties, it is highly illegal for us to be in a secured area like this so we can not raise an alert." said skotti.
Major Tom turned on the light a pointed at the table with some equipment on it.
"As far as weapons go, you must procure on site, you will be issued a standard combat knife, a medical kit, and an M9 tranquilizer pistol." he said.

Aly's head went up at that. Wait a minute..."Are you saying that we won't be able to bring our normal combat weapons? I know we don't get along, but that would put us at an extreme risk." She stated. She quite liked her switch blades and she did like to carry a electronic leech with her. It saved time on the need to bring down electric grids and acquired interesting bits. It would be a massive loss of opportunity not to bring my latest like bug along.

Skotti chimed in "we can't risk being weighed down by our own specialized gadgets and weapons. This is not an urban environment, like I said, this is the jungle, every step you take is a noise that could alert a guard, any piece of equipment is a possible liability, not only will we be fighting enemies, we will also be fighting a living environment filled with venomous and fierce animals, dangerous terrain, I think the least of your worries will be equipment. " said skotti.

As soon as helicopters were mentioned, Sabe felt remotely uneasy and didn't know why. Waffle looked up at Skotti when he talked about the lack of weapons. "Seriously?" she asked in a flat voice.

Pen had so far no objections to the mission. A simple rescure mission into enemy territory. She didn't see why everyone seemed against it just because it was military based. Being not a big supporter of the army due to their needless medling in the Black OPs, Pen still saw a objective. Rescue someone held against their will and get out with little uproar. Really we have had tougher missons.
The mentioning of no weapons was a downer though since she had refined her bladed knuckles skills to a T. All that was going to be for nothing. The blades couldn't slice protecive vests or any defensive gear the enemy might carry. Therefore it only be extra bagage.
However that didn't change the fact that the mission had to be done.
"So when are we leaving, Major?"
