Trying to argue with people online over serious stuff like that is like slamming your head against a brick wall.

The trolls who don't really care what you have to say, they'll insult it either way. 2. The people who are dead-set in how right they are, and will argue to the death that yes, the Sun does revolve around the Earth, which is flat, and the sky is mauve. 3. "goldz lolololol domokun blaugh blaugh blaugh razz 4laugh evil lol whee " 4. 2-3 people who are capable of articulating their opinions and understanding the other opinions presented, then get fed up with Peoples 1-3 and leave.

Tsukasa Elric You get numbers 1 and 3 in almost any forum... Very true. But if you're not trying to conduct a serious discussion, it's easier to ignore. It's far more effort than it's worth to attempt an in-depth topical discussion around all the nonsense constantly interrupting things.

Fomite Tsukasa Elric You get numbers 1 and 3 in almost any forum... Very true. But if you're not trying to conduct a serious discussion, it's easier to ignore. It's far more effort than it's worth to attempt an in-depth topical discussion around all the nonsense constantly interrupting things. But, as I'm always 100% deadly serious in ANY conversation I have, it's so hard to ignore them. crying

Like in one of my General Studies exams when I decided to write something along the lines of "lol dat iz teh kewl!!!11onepotato" and draw random pictures in the back of my answer booklet. And I just KNOW that I'm going to have to work "a giant shrimp" (woo, oxymoron?) into my history exam today because of you. crying
