~Sanctus Espiritus... Maddy was blasted off and landed on her back, sliding a couple meters in the sand. She quickly got to her feet and shook the sand off. She stood her ground, crouched in the sand and panting. She waited for his next move, watching him closely. She smiled slightly, the sight of the damage she had done to him was pleasant to behold.... Redeem us from our solemn hour~

MaddyMage ~Sanctus Espiritus... Maddy was blasted off and landed on her back, sliding a couple meters in the sand. She quickly got to her feet and shook the sand off. She stood her ground, crouched in the sand and panting. She waited for his next move, watching him closely. She smiled slightly, the sight of the damage she had done to him was pleasant to behold.... Redeem us from our solemn hour~ From the waist up the hybrid was glowing orange. He was emitting a large amount of steam and would cringe every time a bit of sea water splashed him. There were gashes in his skin, obviously easily made due to the malleability of his skin. If it wasn't for his flesh melting shut he'd be bleeding badly. Not only that but he was panting, tired from using too much energy. "Is... That really the best... you could do?" He asks tauntingly between breaths.

~Sanctus Espiritus... "Of course not. But this isn't a fight to the death." She mused, smirking at him. She stood up straight and dusted off her shoulders some more. "If you can't take the heat, you can always just back out." She told him, going back into her defensive stance. A few tiny flames danced around her, flickering softly.... MaddyMage ~Sanctus Espiritus... "Of course not. But this isn't a fight to the death." She mused, smirking at him. She stood up straight and dusted off her shoulders some more. "If you can't take the heat, you can always just back out." She told him, going back into her defensive stance. A few tiny flames danced around her, flickering softly.... Redeem us from our solemn hour~ He sighs, having caught his breathe. "I guess I'll have to step this up a notch."He holds his left hand out towards Maddy and fires off a wave of static electricity. Thunder Wave.

~Sanctus Espiritus... "Well, you know how demons are. We're full of surprises, even if we're just half." She wasn't quick enough to dodge the Thunder Wave, which left her struggling to move. She remembered the last time she was paralyzed. It was during the struggle to kidnap her from Team Shadow.... Redeem us from our solemn hour~

MaddyMage ~Sanctus Espiritus... "Well, you know how demons are. We're full of surprise, even if we're just half." She wasn't quick enough to dodge the Thunder Wave, which left her struggling to move. She remembered the last time she was paralyzed. It was during the struggle to kidnap her from Team Shadow.... Redeem us from our solemn hour~ With his boosted attack the hybrid was confident this was the end of the fight. His arm continues to remain raised. Large, sharp, jagged rocks begin hovering around his arm until they cover it. They're then launched towards Maddy like a swarm of bees, ready to pierce into her body. "You demons sure have me curious with your abilities."

The paralysis began to wear off and she picked the rocks out of her flesh with only slight difficulty. "Too bad we've killed most of them. No way to learn about them now." She waited for his next attack, not able to move as much as she would like to move at the moment.... Redeem us from our solemn hour~

The paralysis began to wear off and she picked the rocks out of her flesh with only slight difficulty. "Too bad we've killed most of them. No way to learn about them now." She waited for his next attack, not able to move as much as she would like to move at the moment.... Redeem us from our solemn hour~ He then couches a bit and does a back flip. Using the energy pivoted at his feet he slightly boosts the power of the Earthquake he causes once he hits the ground. The entire area explodes, the ground rips up around the area, thanks to his boosted attack. He still wishes it was STAB.

She had regained a good amount of movement back now and suddenly lunged at Dark, flames flying off her as she dove at him claws first in a spinning motion.... Redeem us from our solemn hour~

She said, using as much power as she could muster to jump into the air and avoid the Earthquake altogether. She had regained a good amount of movement back now and suddenly lunged at Dark, flames flying off her as she dove at him claws first in a spinning motion.... Redeem us from our solemn hour~ He could dodge, but he wouldn't be able to counter attack. So with another quick hand movement, he raises a Protect and blocks her attack. "Any idea on the foundation of their strengths and abilities?"He asks as a small bit of purple ooze drips out of his mouth. He hadn't practiced this move yet so he wasn't able to hide what he was about to do.

Redeem us from our solemn hour~ He attempted to ask a question but the poisonous ooze dripping out of his mouth cut him off. His face turns sour, obviously showing the Toxic doesn't taste very well. He begins gagging and spitting out the goop, unable to execute an attack.

He quickly makes his way to his room for the night, hoping to cure himself of the unstopping rise of the nasty liquid as well as any poison he may have taken in.
