~Sanctus Espiritus... Maddy tumbled sideways out of the way, landing on one hand for a split second before pushing off the ground and landing a couple meters more from where she previously was. She decided it was time to get some action going, and ran at Dark. She moved exceptionally fast, which was normal for a half-demon, probably. Her claws erupted into black and purple flame and she pounced at him, aiming for his chest.... Redeem us from our solemn hour~

MaddyMage ~Sanctus Espiritus... Maddy tumbled sideways out of the way, landing on one hand for a split second before pushing off the ground and landing a couple meters more from where she previously was. She decided it was time to get some action going, and ran at Dark. She moved exceptionally fast, which was normal for a half-demon, probably. Her claws erupted into black and purple flame and she pounced at him, aiming for his chest.... Redeem us from our solemn hour~ Dark was able to keep up with his eyes. He wouldn't be able to follow with his body, but he didn't want to. He needed to take a hit to get serious. He erupts with black smoke and red lightning, a Dragon Dance. He raises his arm and brings it down on Maddy's head when she gets close, hoping to lighten the attack that hits him. That way he takes a decent hit, but not enough for critical damage.

~Sanctus Espiritus... She grumbled a bit as she was struck over the head as she landed the hit, which took away from the overall effect of her attack. Now that was she up close to him, she ducked down all the way and pivoted her body in a way that she had one leg flying towards his, aiming to knocking him off his feet. In the meantime, a swirl of black and purple fire began to dance around the both of them. She was planning something.... Redeem us from our solemn hour~

Christian got bored so he teleported out of the HQ. He then flew to wherever he needed to go.

MaddyMage ~Sanctus Espiritus... She grumbled a bit as she was struck over the head as she landed the hit, which took away from the overall effect of her attack. Now that was she up close to him, she ducked down all the way and pivoted her body in a way that she had one leg flying towards his, aiming to knocking him off his feet. In the meantime, a swirl of black and purple fire began to dance around the both of them. She was planning something.... Redeem us from our solemn hour~ With his little speed boost Dark was able to predict Maddy's movements. He shifts his body around so when he falls he would spin around. After being tripped he does spin, aiming his tail at Maddy's face. His tail is engulfed in water, an Aqua Tail.

~Sanctus Espiritus... Maddy knew Dark would have SOME trick up his sleeve. She quickly caught his tail in her hand and with surprising strength she jumped up, bringing him with her, spun him around slightly and threw him downwards into the sand. He ended up a couple meters from where she landed, as she wasn't capable of flicking someone so heavy that far. Suddenly, a spiral of black and purple flame rose up around her, acting as a barrier. "Nice try, Darky.~"... Redeem us from our solemn hour~

MaddyMage ~Sanctus Espiritus... Maddy knew Dark would have SOME trick up his sleeve. She quickly caught his tail in her hand and with surprising strength she jumped up, bringing him with her, spun him around slightly and threw him downwards into the sand. He ended up a couple meters from where she landed, as she wasn't capable of flicking someone so heavy that far. Suddenly, a spiral of black and purple flame rose up around her, acting as a barrier. "Nice try, Darky.~"... Redeem us from our solemn hour~ He licks away the sand around his mouth, happy his species was able to digest such things. He climbs to his feet with a grin on his face. "I suppose I should start trying."He raises his right hand in the air and looks out towards the sea. A huge wave rises up and begins tearing towards the shore. He had managed a Nasty Plot while he was face planted in the sand. That's Atk:+1 Spd:+1 Sp.Atk: +2

~Sanctus Espiritus... "Awww, s**t!" Maddy's flames weren't quite fire-elemented, but they weren't hot enough to evaporate that much water coming at her. She was easily swept off her feet and washed away further in shore towards the trees. She ended up sprawled out in the sand on her back, soaking wet with a few pieces of seaweed in her hair. She released a huge burst of flame, black and purple spirals of fire flying in all directions but mostly at Dark. The flames were so hot that they dried her off and burnt away the seaweed on her (without harming her, of course). Also, as they sailed towards Dark and in other directions along the beach, the sand beneath them melted into a glass with a brilliant dark purple sheen.... Redeem us from our solemn hour~

She didn't really know what just happened, but it was getting to the point where she could expect almost anything to happen next. She kept her sense alert, listening for every little sound and watching for every little movement. She knew Dark wouldn't be finished THAT easy.... Redeem us from our solemn hour~ A massive amount of mud and stone bursts out from underneath Maddy in a powerful stream. Dark had used Substitute when the water hit. He had then dug himself a hole to ambush the half demon from underground. Now he was using Earth Power from below. Now he was trapped in a hole.

While in mid-air, she flipped around so she was upside-down and shot several purple fireballs down at where she guessed Dark was, which was right below where she previously was. As the fireballs collided with the sand, the sand began to melt into glass. She was planning on encasing him down there while she planned her next move.... Redeem us from our solemn hour~

MaddyMage ~Sanctus Espiritus... "WHAT THE F--?!" Maddy was flung into the air, caught completely by surprise. Of all the things she expected, that was not one of them! While in mid-air, she flipped around so she was upside-down and shot several purple fireballs down at where she guessed Dark was, which was right below where she previously was. As the fireballs collided with the sand, the sand began to melt into glass. She was planning on encasing him down there while she planned her next move.... Redeem us from our solemn hour~ He knew being stuck in the hole was bad.So after his attack was done he quickly feels down the tunnel he made. He Dragon Dances in the meantime, but can easily be spotted climbing out of a hole a few meters away from the water. What's worse is that his tail appears to be caught. Based on his facial expression, this was not part of his plan. So he's halfway in the ground, unable to go up or down. Maddy's intense fire doesn't have him feeling comfortable with taking a direct hit.

Once she was almost upon him, she pounced, flying at him at an even faster rate. She grabbed a hold of him, literally dragging him out of the sand and landed on his chest. MaddyMage ~Sanctus Espiritus... She landed in the sand finally, but didn't waste anytime. She ran at Dark, her whole body on fire in a brilliant show of purple and black. Once she was almost upon him, she pounced, flying at him at an even faster rate. She grabbed a hold of him, literally dragging him out of the sand and landed on his chest. She began to rapidly slash at him with her claws as they slid in the sand.... Redeem us from our solemn hour~ Dark was panicking a bit now, hoping his rock skin would stop most of the attacks. He could feel the heat now, his skin was melting a bit and popping. He opens his mouth and fires off a brilliant and powerful Hyper Beam, like any Tyranitar would do. A point blank Hyper Beam would hopefully get Maddy off of him long enough to recharge. He never uses such powerful Hyper Beams, which is why he never has to recharge. That reason alone makes him shun the attack, which only proves he's panicking.
