Another day, another training routine. She planned to do a short one today, and then attempt the magnetism stuff she'd done with Reeve yesterday.
As she was planning on working with her chakra later, she didn't want to use it now, so she went for one that would just stretch her muscles and give her a good aerobic work out too. Those were, after all, some of her main reasons for this sort of training. If she didn't have anyone to spar against, then the best way to train would be to make a routine that would push her in other ways.
All of her routines were designed to keep her muscles in good condition, so they didn't become stiff and unpliable. The longer ones were meant to leave her panting slightly at the end, pushing her heart and lungs to work harder. This way, she'd be more likely to be able to endure a long fight, if it should come down to that. Then she had the ones where she worked chakra into it. While she may not have someone to spar against, she needed to know how to control her chakra enough that if she were fighting someone else, she'd be able to use her chakra to enhance her attacks.
While she knew each and every one of these routines by heart and could perform them as if it were the easiest thing ever, she kept at it. There were always ways to push herself, and by pushing herself, things became easier. At which point she pushed harder.

She followed him in and shut the door behind her. She followed him to the balcony and then to the pond. She stood there watching him.

This is a double-edged technique. It can be used for offense, and defense, but it can easily kill you in many ways if your body isn't conditioned to it.
-=Neko made a few simple handsigns, and drew water from under his feet. The water froze in front of him, forming a rather thick wall of ice. On closer inspection, Neko's chakra was constantly moving through the block of ice, and so were small layers of water=-
This technique can be used as a shield, you could craft temporary armor with it, you could create traps with it, and you could do just about anything else your mind could come up with. The constant flow of chakra through the ice is where this technique gains it's strength. It constantly melts and freezes in layers, leaving it nearly impenetrable, not to mention that if you allow it, it will spread to anything that touches it, quickly encasing it in ice.
-=The wall melts back into the lake, and Neko walks up to Ally, staying a few feet away to watch=-
Now, begin by letting your chakra spread into the water, then bring it up to form a wall before freezing it.

She looked at him and watched.
"yes." She said as she released her chakra from her into the water. She brought it up and froze it. That was easy, it was keeping the chakra moving and making more layers that was giving her problems. One would fall before the other one was ready and she couldn't get it to work very well. She continued to try and get it working. She brought it up again as she tried to bring up more layers and kept doing it, goign through a bit of her chakra before getting it to work correctly for now. She sighed and then looked at him.
"that was harder then it looked........ "

I know. Until you get the hang of it, try to do small things, but under no circumstances, until you are close to mastering this technique, should you come in contact with the ice.
-=Neko held out his right arm and water wrapped around it, then froze, forming a sleeve of armor=-
Be careful when using this technique, because it can easily drain away all of your chakra. I also suggest doing some more training with dealing with the extreme cold. if I wasn't concentrating on it, my arm would freeze solid right now.
-=He slung his arm, the ice breaking and falling back into the water=-
Work on it.

"sir, how do I do that training without your help? I have no way of doing anything to make that type of area for it if I wanted to. I understand that with the ice..."
She stood there as the water fell from the ice of the last layer as the water rippled at its final fall.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
She looked over at Lina as well curious of what she'd say, she wanted to know how she had done as well.
Reeve gives the two of them a brisk nod. " Both of you are doing really well- all of you are progressing faster than I predicted. Speaking of which, I'm gonna go check on Bel. Be right back." With that, he follows her chakra signature to her location. " Hey there."
She had just finished up today's routine when she saw Reeve approaching her.
"Hi," she replied with a smile. "How's Lina doing?"
Then you might want to train your body and mind until you can make an area to do this. There's a fountain outside. There are streams and such in the forest. There's water vapor all around us.
-=Neko walked to the shore, and sat on a boulder, sighing=-
Try answering your own questions before you ask them, that way you sound a little smarter.
"I actually had a couple of questions about the magnetism field thing you had me do last night," she replied.
"How do I go about aiming? When I pulled the first one back to me, I dropped the field before the blade had enough momentum to make it back to me in air, but if I hadn't, would I have been able to actually catch it without injuring myself? This didn't cross my mind til I tried to use my field to 'throw' the blade and it missed the tree, because I wasn't sure how to aim."
Not now. Try someone else if you want to spar now, I've got things to take care of.
-=Neko stood and stretched. It really wouldn't be a good idea for him to spar right now, he just hoped that Ally would get the hint=-
"Excellent question," Reeve says. "To get down to brass tacks on it, you alter the polarization enough when it's within reach so that you push it slightly away, just enough to put the brakes on the thing you're catching, then reach out and catch it. Pinch the edge between your thumb and forefinger. Not that it matters- soon you will be able to direct things without touching them.
Aim's pretty easy too. If the thing you're throwing is narrow, like a pine needle, throw it just like you would a bo-shuriken. Let it slide through your fingers, which you point at the target. For broader objects, like leaves, you throw it just like a shuriken. As soon as the thing leaves your fingertips, -then- enact the magnetic push." (( Kinda like how a missle is released before the jets enact))
