"Yeah, whatever." Bakura muttered, and made a gesture towards Ryou. The boy got to his feet and bent over so that Bakura could put an arm over Ryou's shoulders and get to his feet. "No use just sitting around."

Ryou helped Bakura down the hallway, with Atem watching carefully. They went back into Ember's room since Bakura seemed to have made up his mind to stay in the hospital.

Ember had fell asleep and kawi followed them along lookingat the ground and saying nothing that worried look on her face still.

Ryou had bowed his head once he helped Bakura into a chair, and inched towards the door. "I... I need to go do something... Will someone tell me when Kira wakes up?"

Ryou turned and quickly fled from the hospital. He needed to get away from there. He had to. He didn't know why. As soon as he was outside he burst into a run, and went until he was at a beach. By that time he had started to cry, and fell to his knees in the sand, sobbing and struggling to breathe, since he wasn't used to running. He let himself calm down, but found that he was still crying, and searched the beach until he found a discarded beer bottle. Smashing it against a rock, he grabbed one of the shards and began to saw at his wrist. As the sharp glass pierced his skin and let blood, crimson and beautiful, run down his arms, he let out a sigh of relief. He etched some words into his wrist, wincing slightly at the pain.

"Kawi?" Yugi was worried about her. He followed her out into the hallway. "Really, what's the matter?" He could tell that something was wrong.
