Idk, a subforum just dedicated to guild rules and stuff like that. I can see the case for Announcements, but definitely not for rules where one can just post a thread in the main forum. It's a waste anyways.

Those definately need their own, or at least one seperate subforum, just to dampen down on the mess.
One guild "stuff" subforum would be okay with me. With rules, announcements, mod intros, links, the banner thread, and the contests/fun stuff maybe.
I also would recommend keeping the Help/Questions subforum, but you might want to change how its worded or how its placed in the lineup because nobody seems to notice it, and people keep directing their questions to the main area.
I think a Paranormal only subforum would be good (for Aliens and sci-fi ish stuff)and any other area studied like a paranormal "science", such as ESP and so on. Kill two birds with one stone this way.

Some other suggestions:
Integrate the Spirits subforum to include ghosts, spirits, and incorporeal or semi-corporeal entities. You might even be able to crunch cryptozoology into it.
I'd like to see a miscellaneous subforum to include stuff like duplicate threads and threads that debate about topics that have already been brought up, along with experiences and whatnot.
I'd like to see more informative posts. Examples would include some topics I've made like The Inexpensive Occultist, The Legendary Mandrake, and so on. It takes a lot of time to make the posts I've made like this, but I'd like to see more people posting in this fashion instead of making a thread that the first post is just a one or two liner followed by "What do you think about it?"
So I'd like to see more of that, definately. I'll work on some of it when I have the time.

How does this sound for subforums?
1. Guild Stuff ~ Info Announcements 2. Recycle Bin ~ Duplicate Threads, Not Good Discussion Threads 3. Dunno, ideas? 4. Cryptozoology & Ghosts/Spirts 5. Paranormal 6. Information & Resources 7. Help/Questions (any idea for a better name?) 8. Supernatural Fun ~ Contests & Roleplays
I was thinking of adding a rule for people to add more depth to their thread, give some background/info/resources etc. because I agree these few sentance posts are annoying. Opinions?
If we should add a rule like that should threads already like that be moved? Maybe give them a week or two to update their thread and if they don't it gets recycled?

ok, but i think that the paranormal subforum should be a bit more spacific (i butchured that word) like call it ufo and whatever else your putting in it information perhapse could be used in the individual subforums, like how the old spirit one had what to do and not to do as a sticky

I was thinking of making a sticky with what topics are allowed in the paranormal forum inside the paranormal forum 3nodding
I also like the idea of all info/resources being in the same place so people don't need to look in all the forums to find an answer sweatdrop

ok, but could we still place the ones that pertain to a particular subforum in that forum as well as an information subforum? in case a person know exactly what they are looking for. it also makes the other subforums look a bit more informative than just people asking questions

Shanna66 ok, but could we still place the ones that pertain to a particular subforum in that forum as well as an information subforum? in case a person know exactly what they are looking for. it also makes the other subforums look a bit more informative than just people asking questions Well double posting the info would be ok as in posting it in the info forum and the forum it belongs too. plus ALL questions will go in the question forum. It will be discussions that go in the other forums 3nodding
