As for the "rules," days 1 through 12 are the usual Twelve drummers drumming, Eleven pipers piping, Ten lords a-leaping, Nine ladies dancing, Eight maids a-milking, Seven swans a-swimming, Six geese a-laying, Five golden rings, Four calling birds, Three French hens, Two turtle doves, And a partridge in a pear tree!
After that, it gets creative.
On the 13th day of Christmas, my true love gave to me thirteen objects or something that ends with an "ee" or "ing" sound that can be shouted hysterically.
Then:
On the 14th day of Christmas, my true love gave to me fourrteen objects or something that ends with an "ee" or "ing" sound that can be shouted hysterically.
We don't have to repeat all the former lines as that would quickly become very long posts!

As for the numbers, rumor has it that it is 12 days of christmas starting on the 13th of december. And you'll get a prize related to the days you logged in.
