 Ven pretended to yell in pain once more before looking at Evijan. He wondered how he could let her know that he understood if she struck now, that perhaps it was inevitable and safer for them both.

She reluctantly slashed across Ven's face with the whip, using a little bit more force than she had intended on. Oh well, she supposed it would look more convincing to Zack that way.

 'Try a little bit more force,' Zack said, now convinced of Evijan's loyalty. He was aware of an indigo figure behind him, cradling a little baby.

He clutched at his face again, letting out yet another scream as the whip connected. Internally he hoped Evijan knew he didn't blame her for attacking him, that he knew why she had done so.

The vampire took Vesper from Jayron, feeling the baby's weight in his arms.
'Huh...it's almost...nice,' he commented. 'A little DRK user of my very own is almost intriguing...'
Zack tailed off, lost in thought, and remembered where he was.
'Oh, I think the orange demon's had enough now. Take him to Level 3.'

Forcing a disgusted expression at Ven, she snatched a hold of one of his horns, and dragged him roughly out of the Main Level.

 Holly had remained huddled for some time, watching but far too terrified to speak up. As Evijan began to drag Ven away, she watched with wide eyes before looking up at Zack from her spot on the floor. '...A baby.' She dreamily observed.

Holly wasn't sure whether to smile or not, so she did anyway. Then she dissolved into giggles, pressing a hand to her mouth and looking around. 'All the people...went away...hm...scared.'

Holly looked shocked when she noticed the baby in her arms, even jumping a bit. 'Hello...little baby...little baby.' She said quietly, frowning when she realized it had strange features. '...Is it...is it part goat...?'

'...Yes,' he replied, not being bothered to correct her, and tried to remember.
There was a LGHT shield around the door...But which level...? Hmm... Zack used his own DRK to detect any proximity to LGHT, and slipped through the door to Level 7.
