Well, should this really bother you? I mean, they're not people you know, right? If it's all in your head then you can choose to ignore it or find solace in a friend.
Rely on friends, for without support, everyone becomes their own nightmare and can't stand themselves. Dun worry, I did it once after I recovered from being hospitalized.

Oh, nonono, you don't understand. It's my friends that make sure I regret it if I dare get too close. I can enjoy people's company, for the most part, as long as I don't let my guard down and start trusting them. xd I learned my lesson about this when I was eight and it's still a bad habit of mine, so I'm still a bit of a nomad because I can't keep myself from trusting people, and the disaster rate once it happens is 100%. 3nodding
Besides, if there's someone keeping an eye on me, I know why. I'm the earthly manifestation of Satan. So it's really only logical.

Either way, the point is, I'm harboring a secret that would destroy me in the eyes of the hearer, and am superstitious about telling anyone. xp Just to sum it up before it gets too tangled for me to untangle. And before I have to go to sleep.

I'm such a spoiler hound that I usually know how something ends before learning how it begins.
On a related note, the Wikipedia article for "The Mousetrap" reveals the ending. This amuses me greatly.
