The glass bottle smashed and some acid hit some of the guys. it burned a little, but most of it just put holes in their clothes.
One guy shot the doctor in both legs.

The doctor fell over, causing Laura to thrust out of his arms and fell on the floor, rolling a little. "Damn..." He muttered. "I was... so close."

The guy walked up to the doctor and picked him up by the collar. "You'll have a lot of explaining to do to the Don" he said.
A few doctors came and carefully picked up Laura. They took her back into the room.

Alfone was, well, incapacitated. His breathing was erratic and slow.

The doctor was hauled up to Giovanni's office. Giovanni was horribly angry and he was going to make sure the doctor suffered.
Some of the men were being treated for the burns they sustained when the acid hit them.

Trist finally succeeded in securing a promise from one of the nurses that an ambulance would arrive shortly, and that they would be on the lookout for a door next to her motorcycle at the given location.
Now all she had to do was wait and keep an eye on the man's status.
