Crade thought he heard someone call for him and looked down, swallowing one last bug. He did his bird cry, to indicate he was up in one of the trees.
Ketsueki almost chocked on her food. "Wh-what? That was an anti-dragon lance? I didn't realize it...."

Kelab raised an eyebrow, "You didn't know? It was a lance specialized to kill dragons."
Freeda heard Suzume and ducked down. She blushed a little.

"I thought it was an ordinary lance... I didn't notice it was the dragon killing specialized one" Ketsueki replied.

Suzume heard the cry and looked up, spotting a bird in the trees. He must have been Crade. "Crade? Do you want some more food?" she called to him.

Crade flew out the tree and turned into his human form in mid air, falling unharmed back to the ground. "I was prohibited from eating that food..." He sighed. "Ketsueki would literally kill you if you gave me something and she found out"
Ketsueki kissed Kelab on the cheek. "Don't be, I'm ok now"

Suzume sighed. "I know, I figured. I have an idea why she's banning you from food. But I still think you shouldn't be starved from real food." She held out the food she had barely even eaten, and shrugged. "Besides, what she doesn't know won't hurt us."

"I rarely eat," Suzume replied. "You probably haven't had decent food in a long while. Come on, you can't pass off an opportunity such as this." She grinned.
