Bakura put a hand against the wall, trying to get his breathing under control. Had he said that he was a bit strained? No, it was way more than that. It was as if the items were clawing at his soul. Glancing up, wiping sweat away from his brow, he noticed Kawi. He followed her gaze down to his shirt and shrugged weakly, putting his back against the wall and sliding to the ground. "Kira. Had to... had to carry her." He said, breathing heavily.

Kawi blinked.She was happier now knowing kira was safe in a hospital. "Would you like some water?"
Sylvia had been passing by when she noticed bakura.Shewalked over and looked over him.She knelt at his side taking hispulse "Did you run here?" she asked.

Yugi followed after Kawi and had lagged a little behind. "Hey, what's going on?" He asked, approaching her.
Bakura shook his head. "Walked... Why? Is something wrong?" He lifted his hand and protectively grabbed his new Millennium Item. No way was he about to give this up. He was so close.

"Oh, great! We should go tell Ryou and Atem." Yugi chirped, already making a mind link with his yami.
"No, I'm fine." Bakura said, shakily getting to his feet on his own. "It's... something else. But I know what the problem is, and it'll be over soon."

Sylvia sighed "Fine but atleaset go sit down." she asked looking at him.
Kawi nodded head headed twards the room.

Atem was still trying to get rid of his headache, and Ryou was gazing blankly at the wall, trying to think of where Khalid could have gone.
"Right..." Bakura nodded his head, and his grip tightened on his Millennium Rod. He sank down on a chair, holding his head in his hands.

Sylvia left for a moment then came back with a cold cup of water "here" shesaid handing it to him.
Kawi poped her head in theroom "kiras here in the hospital."

"Really? What-- How'd she get here?" Atem asked in surprise as Ryou jumped to his feet.
Bakura gave Sylvia an odd look, then mumbled a thanks and took a drink.

"Like how?" Atem asked, still concerned-- though not for Bakura-- because of what happened when he tried to make a mind link. Without really waiting for an answer, he left the room and quickly found Bakura. The first thing he noticed was Bakura's much increased power, and his instability to control it, and then saw the Millennium Tauk. He didn't even notice the nurse. "What the hell Bakura?!" He yelled, eyes narrowed. A bad thought struck Atem; Bakura now had five of the seven items, and Khalid was off somewhere with the Millennium Eye. And Atem had the puzzle. He quickly took a few steps back as though Bakura was going to steal his Millennium Item right then.

"You idiot. Can't you tell they're just destroying you?" Atem snapped, angry.

Ryou left the room and approached the two of them, taking a seat next to Bakura. He was silent as Atem and Bakura bickered a little more, then placed his hand over his yami's. "Thank you for helping Kira." He said softly, his eyes on the ground ahead of him.
