Allen looked up at a clock on the wall, "I wonder if something will happen today." He sat on the couch and crossed his arms. Lydia flew over from the vending machine and sat down on the back of the same couch right behind him.

Maddy was still standing at the entrance of Unova Route 4, north of Castetlia City. She was in a deep state of contemplation and determination had kept her thought process going for a few days now. A crowd of Dwebble stood around her, watching her closely. They had become tranced at her stillness. There was no way to tell if they friend or foe, though; a few were starting to get a little close to her. In fact, one Dwebble had snatched her TADS out of her pocket. It waved the little device about until it flipped open and then proceeded to playfully pinch at the buttons. The commotion was probably activating a lot of crazy s**t on Maddy's TADS, including sending messages.

Rei looked down at his blinking TADS.
"What in the...? Is Maddy drunk?" he muttered, reading the jibberish coming off of the screen.
"m,igmomg fobfiernwo93wm dfsic kep"
"What." He put his TADS away and headed to the hotel's lobby and came across Allen. Upon seeing the fellow Aquan, he waved hello and pointed at his TADS.
"I'm not the only one getting this, right?" he asked, pulling up the cryptic message.

Caleb was busily eating at the food bar. Sober this time. He couldn't help but raise an eyebrow as he got the odd messages from Maddy. Perhaps it was some sort of code he hadn't been informed by yet. Who knows. He continued eating without much care. Marshtomp sat beside him on a stool, eating to his content.

When Allen's device buzzed, he barely had time to open the messages he'd gotten from Maddy when Rei walked in as asked about the message. "Mm I just got one." He looked down.
"jfipwj . ... iTHkdasnasdKNSDOIJENKCMDF"
"There are two more like it." He tapped at the device a few more times to find Maddy's location over a map of Unova. He looked over to Caleb, "Maybe we should just go find out ourselves?" He raised an eyebrow, standing up to get ready to head out.

A Dwebble had crawled up Maddy's back and perched atop her head. It made a few gleeful clicking sounds and waved it's tiny claws happily in the air. Meanwhile, a few more Dwebble had joined in the pinching of Maddy's TADS. Luckily, they weren't causing any harm to the device. However, the constant flashing of the camera on the TADS wasn't pleasant to some of the little Pokémon.

"Let's go see what's up with the boss. Hopefully this isn't a sign for help or something."

Caleb finally noticed that Rei and Allen were talking about something. Hurriedly he cleaned up his plate before strolling over to the others.
"So those codes huh...?" he spoke up. Marshtomp licked up the remains on his own plate before coming over to investigate.

"Mhmm. I'm hoping it won't be something super cryptic." He chuckled, glancing back at Caleb, as they made their way to the Route 4 gate. Allen could see Ms. Leader Lady ahead, "Maddy!" He waved, jogging up to her.

The Dwebble were now completely covering Maddy. She didn't seem to be struggling with them, she was just going with the flow. A few of the Dwebble clicked and waved at the others as they approached.
[They're innocent enough, but they're gonna have to move.]

Rei looked down at the multitude of Dwebble. Sure, they were cute, but it was almost disturbing how they swarmed over their passive leader.
"Countess, can you confuse some of them off of her? Daze, don't harm them too much," he said. His Zubat nodded and sent a few Confuse Rays at the bugs, doing her best not to harm Maddy herself. Some of the Dwebble fell off harmlessly, walking as if drunk.

Caleb didn't seem all too curious about the adorable Dwebble swarm. They were a common sight on the beach back home. Marshtomp moved forward to move them, only to have Caleb stop him. Much to Marshtomp's dismay, Caleb pulled out a candybar and waved it in the air for the Dwebble to see. He waited as they inched closer before throwing it to the side. Caleb passed Maddy back her TADs before heading back to the hotel. His stomach was telling him he hadn't had his fill just yet!

Allen had to stop and take a look around, where was he again? The gate to Route 4 in Unova. Apparently he'd been standing there in one position for a long time.... A crowd had gathered and had thrown pocket change at his feet.
He turned his head to look as the crowd and there was a shared gasp, one woman even shrieked. "Uh, thank you for your time." They dispersed pretty quickly.

Maddy was sitting on the ground, legs crossed, surrounded by the horde of Dwebble. They were waving their arms in the air, to some unheard music. Suddenly, Maddy shot to her feet.
What the ******** was she doing on Route 4?
She grabbed at her hair, frustrated, as the crowd of Dwebble scattered, fleeing the scene. All except one. It boldly crawled up Maddy's leg and torso an onto her shoulder, where it happily 'click'ed and retreated into it's shell to sleep contently.
Maddy eyed the creature, baffled, but merely shrugged. She picked it up and placed it into her handbag, thinking it wanted to come along with her for a bit.
With a sigh, she set off on her way, journeying up Route 4 and running into Allen.

"Eh? Maddy?" He squinted as she approached, where did she come from? There was a pile of rocks near the entrance she kind of erupted from. Oh right! The Dwebble. He scanned the area for a moment, "What even is going on?" They had been looking for Maddy... but... Why?
