Hartley spun his necklace a few more times, a shiny blue gem pendant that seemed to make almost a soft tinkling noise as it spun.

Billy held up his right hand, with thumb and forefinger extended in that universal 'just a little bit' sign.
"What's the matter? Too much?"

Wallace stood up and peered at the boy gathering at the door. "Oh Teddy...I thought we were done with girls..." Magically he appeared at the doorway with a martini despite the early hour. "Hey cutie." Little wave to Hartley. Sure, he knew that was Billy, but come on, he was just setting himself up for this. "So what's with the outfit Teddy toy?"

Billy looked down at himself and then up at Wallace.
"I knew I'm not exactly popular on campus so I thought maybe if I changed my image then the other guys wouldn't tease Teddy about going out with me."
Billy slapped his hands over his mouth, eyes wide open.
Oo! Damn that spell!

Wallace went back inside and retrieved Teddy's notebook. It was probably filled with drool and doodles, but whatever. Wallace was a Junior. Freshman history was so two years ago. Pushing past Teddy and that goth chick, he went over to Hartley. "Heard about you on the news this morning. Little famous boy. But anyway, I think Billy is asking Teddy on a date. We should crash it."

Let's go in the bathroom and wash your face." He hooked his finger in one of the unnecessary loops on Billy's jacket and tugged him into his dorm room and into the bathroom.

Hartley dropped the notebook and grabbed his pendant. He'd been working on it ever since he got back on campus...a sonic resonator that cut off his speech when his heart rate got too high...the perfect way to keep from getting too truthful.

"Teddy! That's not gonna....SPPPTHHHH!!!"
Billy struggled as he got physically dragged into the bathroom via back of his pants loop and Teddy set about scrubbing away at the makeup Billy had borrowed to heighten the goth effect around his eyes!
"Tedd..PTTHHH! ... It's not PTH! It's...Teddy!"
Billy finaly managed to grab Teddy's wrist, and despite the awkward situation, Billy found himself laughing.
"It's not gonna work Teddy Bear! I borrowed Kate's waterproof stuff! Only...I didn't know it was waterproof until after I had applied it."

He began to rummage in the cabinet and finally found baby oil. Hm. Worth a shot. He dabbed a little bit on a cotton ball, and holding his fingertips under Billy's chin, he gently dabbed about the eyes.
