Alice looked at Satsuki and smiled. "My name is Alice. Alice Shidou. I'm the one with the little girl names Sakura." she said softly with a smile. She then looked over at Shadow still smiling. "....I've decided......Everything should be fine the way they are!...." she said softly.

"Don't worry Abel, the head of security has your back." he said as Abel left.
Shadow just sat back by the pool and smoked. He relax for a moment before looking at Satsuki. "It won't be long before you have a great deal of control over that ability of yours." Shadow said trying to complament her abilities.
Shado wlooked at Alice in a little bit of shock. "You mean you are staying here with the little child? Are you sure?" Shadow asked. Sakura reminded him of his own daughter in a strange way. He didn't want anything bad to happen to either Alice nor Sakura. They where only human after all.

Alice nodded slightly with a smile on her face. ".....I thought about it and It just wouldn't be the same without her or if we went anywhere else." she said said softly. She wasn't sure if Shadow would understand her or not.

"Well if you are willing to stay within these wall even with the comming battles then you are little Sakura are welcome here." Shadow said. What Alice had siad to him made very little sense but Shadows mind was full of other things. He couldn't decode every cryptic thing the residents of this mansion said.

Alice smiled softly at him before walking over to a chair and taking a seat. She sighed softly as she slowly looked up at the sky. "Thank you........Um Shadow.....Can I ask you to promise me something?......" she said softly as she slowly looked over at the window that lead to her room.
She looked over at Satsuki and smiled softly. "It's nice to meet you as well." she said softly.

Alice looked over at him, a serious look on her face. "....Your the only one I've meet that I can really trust so far. So.......If anything ever happens to me........Promise me......you'll take care of Sakura for me........" she said softly still very serious then smiled. "That is........if I don't find someone else!....." she said softly with a slight giggle.

"If something happens I will take care of her as if she was my own. You have my word on that." Shadow said in a serious tone. His word ment alot to him. He would never disgrace himself by going back on it. "If you find someone better for the job then I will step down." he said with a half smile.

Alice smiled over at him and nodded. "Thank you Shadow. Oh yes......Don't forget to mention it to Cassidy. I don't want her to be burdened with not knowing." she said softly with a smile, yet a sad expression in her eyes as she thought about the fact that something could happen to her or Sakura.

"I will tell her when she wakes up... if she wakes up." Shadow said in no more than a wisper. Cassidy was spending more and more time sleeping these days and that bothered him a little. "Don't worry about a thing Alice. Nothing is going to happen to you or to Sakura. Not while I am alive. There may come a time when you need to defend yourself." he said as he turned to look right at her. "Do you have anything to defend yourself with?" he asked.

Alice looked at him for a moment before slowly looking down at the ground. "No.......In town you don't need to know such things....." she said softly with a slight sigh. She then looked back up at him. "Um........If I can find someone to look after Sakura.......Do you think you could teach me?......" she asked softly a serious look back on her face.

"I can teach you the basics of using fire arms. Since you are human it would be better if you kept your distance from the beings that would apear. Find someone to look after Sakura and I will show you how to protect yourself." He said. Several options ran through Shadows mind. He would need to start off with really light and simple weapons for her. 'I hope she is a fast study' he thought.

Alice smiled as she quickly stood up and hugged him. "Thank you!" she said softly. She then realized what she was doing and quickly let go of him, standing up. "Sorry about that.....I don't really know why I did that....." she said softly, her face slightly red.
