Alanna ran outside holding her coat close to her to cut off the bitter wind. Farther out in the distance there was a creature surrounded by mist, floating mid air. An Icip. It hovered there waiting for her. It was hooded. And had no legs. Underneath was a mystery to most. It only revealed its true self when going to devour something. Alanna ran up to it keeping several feet away. "You called?", she asked keeping her jacket closed.
Groans came from under its hooded robe before answering. "Yesss... Much chaos is happening in the underworld.. Much chaos. Bad girl hurt fath--"
"SHUT UP. It's not likely an Icip comes up here. What is it you want?" She glared at the creature awaiting an answer.
It laughed in a demented voice spinning in a circle. "Hungry.. Want fresh meat.. And reaper give meat to any who slay girl." As soon as finishing its sentence it grabbed her within its cloak. Nothing could be seen, only her legs dangling from the bottom, and muffled screams. She was kicking her legs but was suspended in the air, unable to catch on to anything. The Icip screamed and a small light emmited from under the robes. She was still trapped though, it was not easy to escape from an Icip once under its cloak. Horrid things happened in there.

Senstren jumped out of nowhere, bringing the flaming blade, Nameless, in a horizontal arc aimed at the dead center of the creature's head. He had wanted to escape the constant fighting of his home, but had just walked into another battle. "Alanna, you alright?" He called as he made the attack.

She yelled back but her voice couldn't be made out. The light inside still shone brightly and her legs kept kicking, by accident she kicked Senstren. But you can't blame her, she couldn't exactly see. The Icip screamed spinning around to face Senstren. The hood was empty. The creature was inside the torso part. But attacking it would cause harm to Alanna too. Her voice got through, "Pull me out!!!" She yelled still kicking her legs wildly.

Senstren dropped to one knee momentarily. Alanna had kicked him right behind the kneecap. "Ow...Ok, I'll....try...." He jumped back up and looked at the creature. Then he saw one of Alanna's flailing legs and grabbed it with his left hand, keeping Nameless ready for a counterattack. He jumped backwards, holding onto Alanna's leg, keeping Nameless out to his right side.

With a few good tugs she came free of the Icips grasp and flew out, falling into senstren. She was covered in some sort of goo mixed with blood getting it all over Senstren. She coughed wipping it away from her eyes. Without a second thought half a scyth materilized into her hand. She slipped her hand through the wristband and began to spin the weapon leaping at the creature, slicing it into peices wildly. She hated these things. Once its peices fell to the ground she began to stomp on them. "Stupid!LITTLE!SLIMY!b*****d!ICIP! she would keep going unless someone called her name.

"Alanna....Alanna!" Senstren ran up behind her and wrapped his arms around her, then pulled her off of the pulp which was formerly the creature. "Calm down!" He did'nt want to let her go as long as she was enraged and had a sythe in her hand.

She fought a little against his grip on her, which was quite strong even when being covered in slimy goo, until calming down. She was still breathing heavily. "I am calm! Now let me go so I can stomp on it again!" She was a feisty one and was still eyeing the remains which she missed to squish.

"Alanna, please, It's dead." He turned around, keeping his grip on her so she was facing away from the remains. "Don't waste your energy. What was that, and why was it here?"

She looked over herself. Slime was everywhere, even on the hands that bound her. She sighed heavily. "That was an Icip. Nasty things. They roam about in the underworld.. They don't usually come up unless they are told too." she paused for a moment. "That one was here for me.. Seems father still holds a grudge...though I should be the one holding the grudge..." she turned her head looking at him half way. "Sorry.. 'bout that.."

"I'm fine, there's nothing to appologize for." He let go of her, and spun her, so she was facing him. He kept his hands on her shoulders, just in case she made another attempt to flatten the Icip more than it already was. "Your father had enough of a grudge to send that to kill you?"

The slime dripped down her face and she smiled, despite her posistion. "Yup. Tried to kill the old man.. But he started it!" she objected in defense. Her eyes drifted to the corpse behind him and she tried to slip past him to get it.

"Alanna!" He caught her around her waist with his arm, then spun and got a better hold on her. Suddenly, he realised that he was basically hugging her from behind. He coughed, spun around again, and lightened his grip on her, returning her to how they were standing before. "Do you still hate him?"
