Some more than others but really only through fighting will you realize who your real friends are. Just hang in there hopefully it'll blow over soon and if it doesn't then it's okay cause you have US! I'm pissed because they're idiots. They get drunk, do drugs, don't leave high school...or say that their old friends aren't religious and wholesome enough for them. I...am really pissed. I don't ******** know them anymore. People change so much after High School. I didn't think I did, but now I know I did. ...and I hate what I've become, and I'm working on changing that. surprised I never really had that problem. My friends have, to the best of my limited observations, stayed pretty much the same after high school, nor have I changed a whole lot. Now, my assessment of myself may be off, since some people claim that the way I carry myself is different than in high school, but no real major changes. Still same ol' Zely.

The only reason I'm going to school this fall is to meet new people. ...but it's so hard. I'm shy around new people. I've solved all these problems by simply not having friends. cool

Phoenix315 I'm with Mala. I don't hang out with any of my HS friends anymore. Though I am still friends with one of them... but he went/is going off on a 2 year missions trip, so I won't see him again for a while. sad That stinks. sad I've had some kind-of friends in vet school; chat while at the hospital and all, but don't really go out much. But most everyone's moved away to their own respective jobs at this point. confused Oh, well.

I have 2 friends from High School that I talk to regularly. And since I just graduated college (and one of my friends did a well), I don't expect to hear from her as much. The other one, we've been friends thru thick and thin. We're even planning a trip to go gambling in July/August some time. biggrin
The one friend in HS that was my best friend beyond anything pissed me off somewhat after. She asked me to be her maid of honor at her wedding. Quite happily, I said I would. I hear nothing from her for 2 months. Not really surprising since her fiancee hates her having friends and family and would go out of his way to shoo them away. I come across a mutual friend of ours and she says to me "Guess what! Sarah asked me to be her maid of honor! Can you believe it?"
No. I couldn't.
Hm... guess that explains why I don't want or have friends IRL. They all end up backstabbing me in the most horrible ways. Why bother? stare
And on that note, I'll be taking a break from Gaia and the HP board. I'll like... sign on to check for mini-shop business, but mostly be offline. Noticed lately that I'm obsessing, so... best to break bad habits before they start. Indy: I'll get your hare done tomorrow. Promise. G'night all.

I didn't really have friends from high school, since I pretty much went the last two years without really speaking to anybody. I had several good friends Freshman year, then I had to move and eventually fell out of touch with all of them. Sophomore year, I had two good friends; one went to home schooling and stopped talking to me, and the other moved. By then all the little groups had been formed, and I didn't have it in me to try to break into any of them, so I just avoided people. I'm infinitely more outgoing than I was back then, even though that's not saying much. confused crying I hope your break does what you need, and come back soon. I'll even cut back on my annoying pimping of the tTB. gonk heart
