Just got a huge self esteem boost...
Called up a company about a job, got through to the manager... He explained the job to me and it turned out it's a lot like an easier version of my last job. I explained my experience to him, and it then turned into him talking me into coming to work for them. I didn't need an interview or anything. Go in for a chat about the details on Wednesday and start training some time after that.

gonk I was actually tryna figure out if job was a word that only us brits use.
I'm a salesperson for wall and loft insulation. Some people will probably laugh and think it's boring but I could be averaging 50k a year if I'm good at it.
And I know for a fact I'm a damn good salesperson...
