It might seem odd, but to one as used to it as Reeve is, the sound of breaking glass is a lot more foreign than lightning. He turns around, looking at the girl.
" I'm sorry...did I startle you?"

We're simply going to learn how to control two things...blue fire and kitsune ho. I'm sure Fen's already figured out how to use the first?
Tutsumi smirked slightly as blue flames came up on his right side and green came on the left. It was an odd mix, but it worked.

She began to blush immediately.
"Oh no, nothing like that... it's just... I don't know. Something about that lightning seems to have sparked something in my head... But I'm not quite sure. It just seems... oddly familiar? And that startled me."

Fenris looked to the green fire, and odd expression coming to her face. She held out a hand, a blue ball of fire appearing in hand. "Yeah... kinda... just started using it somehow..."

Iri can be seen walking into the main room from the long hall of bedrooms, humming a soft tune. Her knee-length braid is a little damp from a very recent bath and she's clad in fresh jeans and a white sweater. The sweater is low in back rather than the front to accomodate her wings. In her right hand is a wooden fan, much like one of her typical steel tessen. While she keeps her left hand in a pocket of her jeans, she continuously tosses and opens the fan in her right. Just as she had to get used to the difference between a steel naginata and a wooden substitute, she has to get used to a much lighter wooden version of her tessen.

Mel, I'm not quite sure what's happened but it seems...you're from my race and breed. I don't know if you're one of the set my family thought wouldn't survive...or if you're from one of my siblings which managed to hide themselves...but I guess you're here? Anyway, as such...you're going to have to learn how to control your base elements. There are three main elements for us to learn; Yami, Blue Fire, and Kitsune Ho. Fen, show her what I mean...tell her how you are able to make it appear. I want you two to work together on controlling your abilities.

"Not at any point in the last two years. I believe some of the jutsu's in my list are rai, though. But that one you just performed isn't one I've recalled prior to now."
She paused a moment. "That's also the first one I've 'remembered' outside of a dream."

She held her head again shaking her head and kept her hat on covering it and her shades on as well.

The weapon in her hand reminds Iri of something. She stops just before the dojo doors. Now what did she do with her naginata? Didn't she have it yesterday?
Damn it, I hate it when I lose stuff like that.
Iri opens the door and walks out onto the porch. She looks around a bit, hoping to spot Reeve or Nyl. That's when she sees her naginata, still leaning against a wall. The winged girl slightly grimaces as she pockets her fan and collects the much larger weapon. Well don't I feel silly now...

"How to... make it appear? Bah. it just happened, and since then I was able to use it, Tut... You know more about it..." She was of course, backing down. She was naive. It sucked. "But... whenever I had used it before, it was at the spur of excitement or a heightening of my emotions...

BINGO! Emotions. Unlike the elements we teach here where you generally have to keep a calm emotion, Blue Fire's power is varied based on your emotion. Deep passion or anger makes it extremely powerful...generally too powerful for you two to control, so let's base it on trying to keep yourself alive.
At that, Tutsumi dashed towards them, creating what seemed to be a hand held laser in both of his hands. If it were to touch either of them, it would cut through them like butter, so he showed what would happen by running it against the grass as he dashed towards them.
