Warhammer was though. She took his hand and followed him, and her steps did not faulter.
"Kimmuriel does what he thinks he must. If my safty happens to be one of those musts, than I will not complain. I fear Vierna, but for other reasons. At the moment, she is in the back of my mind. Threre is much too much begginign to happen for me to concentrate effot on her."
She sighed, not a sad sigh, just a sigh. "Every home of mine is a prison, Warhammer. That fact has been long in practice with me."
"The Earth Mother understands the importance of free will. Although she might think otherwise, if this plane falls appart." She growled a little bit under her breath. This little problem of hers of planes was not yet over with the forging of the gate.

"If it troubles you so, The Captain is surely aware and prepared to deal with it accordingly, though he has left me completely in the dark of any plans. I fear that my good nature would interfere with his dark designs, as in the past when his workings were beyond forgiveness, he kept me in complete ignorance." As he was talking he was working the various protocales to get Meilikki to her quarters.
"Sometimes a Drow can be removed from his universe and offered a path to redemtion, but one can never turn one's eyes away for too long, for he is roted to the core." The minotaur opened the last door, and bumped his ten foot tall frame into the ceiling. "Alas, I am much to large for this entrace."
"The captain is trying to keep you to himself again." The minotaur paused, "Though his attitude towards Aella has taken a rather uncerimoneous turn as well." He sat against a wall, and remained quiet. THe sound of water bouncing off the roof of the room echoed softly.
"The Captain thought you might appriate some rain. So he made some. It will last the remainder of today."

"Many things trouble me." But she smiled softly. She was used to keeping such things to herself. Not many listened anyway. She followed where he lead, even winced a bit when she heard him bash his head, that was never a pleasant experiance.
"Again? I have not allowed anyone my services for weeks. I would say he is only continuing to keep me to himself." Not that she really mind. She couldn't deal with the petty problems of the rest of the world lately. Too much fog, too much she didn't know.
"Uncerimoneous? How so?"
She stopped and listened the rain, which was both a comfort and a tool. Echo's bounced all around the room, helping her to draw a map in her head with the placement of furnature and other such items. "He was right then."

"He's being more affectionate towards her, as though he is enthralled by her mere presence." Warhammer replied. "If you would like, I can stay here with you for a while while we trasfer more people here. After the guards, you were the first to be brought. Soon, I believe we will have guests more to your liking. Good company, I guess you could say."

"She will be finding that odd, I'm certain."
The rain helped guid her hand to a wall, where she started to glide across it, feeling how large the room was...the same process she had gone through at the keep. Except this time she would be knocking her knees on the furniture, as the rain made the echo's
"That would be appreciated. Tanundra is occupied with a few other errands of mine, and I am starting to get used to company." She smiled.

The minotuar made a strange coo-ing noice in his throught, which he could not translate into common. "I should tell you about the building of this castle..." The minotaur explained how he and Stoneshaper moulded the earth with their magics, and how the dwarves tampered with the stone to make it stronger. The rings were grown from the rocks, and the wizards were working like dogs for the last two weeks prepairing the magical defenses. The technical parts of the castle were designed by a gnome named Trem Bowl. The same gnome who was currently causing the captain some grief.

She listned, nodding and speaking where appropriate, commenting here and there. She found while he talked that her own room help much o what she would need to work, her spell and potion ingrediants ready and easily recognizable, tables and a fireplace, an ajoinging room where she could host if need be. Malik and Piper would be comming shortly, so the room would come in handy. And a large four poster bed with hanging drapes. Anythign an everythign she needed was within easy reach.
"So much preperation...it wasn't all just for me was it?" She smiled, a chuckle in the back of her throat.

Malik was up when his internal clock said daybreak, and before any other things had dressed himself in his armor, before walking out of the bedroom, yelling.
"Onyx, Zahara! Din! tiem to get yourself up and get ready to go. We'll be leaving as soon as everyone is prepared, but that does NOT mean slack off about it!"
Of course Piper would here that and it would probably wake her up as well.
"We're visiting the Oracle, So if you got any questions bubbling in your heads try adn remember them. however any task you are assigned is yours to do, don't come looking for help unless it's required."
And downstairs, to start breafast running, gripping Malvolence and seeing if Sevilin was reachable directly.
Rune Mage Sevilin....your presence is requested at Trimuverate Fortress.
Onyx grumbled at the yelling, and woudl have ignored it adn rolled over until the word 'oracle' came into it. that ment visiting Whirlwind. So that got him up, preening his feathers, damn he was molting a bit, wasn't he. gettign his fur all nice and shiny coat so his faint bluish markings might show up in the light...and then downstairs.
"So..what's for breakfast?"

Zahara dragged herself from reverie and glared outside, it was still night, not that the sun ever rose in the Underdark but she knew the difference. She did get up though, getting dressed and making sure she had everything she needed packed. She had no idea how long this little journey was going to take so she had a bag that she looped over her shoulder, crossways over her chest, and grabbed her daggers. Two at her thighs in their sheaths and one in her boot and a quick brush of her hair. She was ready. Now she could be mean and linger but that wouldn't go along with the new role she had fallen into. So she headed downstairs and nodded. "Hello everyone."

Piper rolled over for a moment. For the love of elvish Gods...this was horribly early in the morning wasn't it? Yelling already too. Though she had a more pressing question on her mind...there were five of them and only two horses. And there was no way walking was an option it was just too far and the terrain too inhospitaable. Like a good little elf she pulled herself out of bed and dressed herself in her armor. Might as well continue getting comfortable in it and who knew what would happen. Keely was in teh room by this point, following her around and doing whatever or holding whatever Piper needed her to. Soon enough Piper was composed, armored up, and weaponed up, coming downstairs to join Malik, Onyx, and Zahara who had already made thier apperance. "You know, the thought struck me...there's six of us and only two horses." Hm...maybe Ashlyn could help with that problem if need be.
Sevilin's ears twitched as the voice poked into his head. Opening his eyes he shook his head and stood up from teh runic circle had had been siting cross legged in medatiating. "So, he finally comes to call does he. Very well." It only took him a few moments to pull on his shirt and his gear, fight Nym for his socks and then slip on his boots. Grabbing his pole arm and waiting for Nym to take place on his shoulder he gave a node and scribed a rune to the air, promptly creating a mini portal.
That of course once stepped through put him right in front of the fortress. Ah translocation. So he pushed open the doors and walked in, nonchalant about it all as ever, going to where the sound of voices were. Hm, seemed they were all going on a trip or something.

Din zipped into a chair at the dinner table like a kid lining up for a pony ride. He was away, dressed, and full of peop. Not bad for a man his age, eh?
"I don't need a horse," he said to Piper as she joined them. "Anything that can keep up and I'll be okay with. I'd travel with one of the..uh...travelers, but human memories make me dizzy."

Outside, so faint that it was almost impossible to hear and yet strayed in the back of your mind like the buzzing of a fly, was the steady beating of something hard agains't something taught. Drums in the deep.
Dust raised by the padding of some two thousand and five hundred feet betrayed their presnece, all though they were not so concerned. Grummsh was with them.
The battering ram was set and ready, rolling across the ground with ominious creeks and groans.

Zahara watched as the others joined them one by one and made a mental count. Alright, they had everybody, that meant it was time to go right? She looked at the doorway and saw Sevilin come through and then nodded. That was everybody. Couldn't leave the damn runemage behind, no she needed him as much as it burned her to even think it much less say it. The table was still broken on the floor but the chairs were in pretty decent shape so she took one, sitting down and crossing her legs. "So when are we leaving?"

"You and me can ride double on Nightmare, Sevilin can take Serino. Onyx can fly or glide as the case may be. if needed, Ashlyn can take Din or he can ride double with Sevilin. Onyx can carry Zahara..or Zahara can ride with Ashlyn."
A slight grin and putting Piper in a seat while breakfast was served out in large amounts.
"we're going to see the Oracle. as she is under the care of Kimmuriel, we'll probably have to jump through a few hoops to get to her. and we might face some potential threats enroute. So you are all to be aware of your surroundings and prepared."
of course Malik did grab a few things to eat, and waved Sevilin over.
"anything that you can keep Zahara up about woudl be useful. how are the runics coming. she learn anything of value yet?""
Onyx was gorging himself, and ears twitching to pick up conversation.
"That depends on distance. carrying someone can be stressful if they weigh enough over long distance. it's a bit of a strain getting folks form here to the oracles home. but they were supposed to be movign soon, so the distance might be a bit far to carry someone."

Sevilin looked at bit...well pissed at being told he was to ride a horse...but for one express reason. "That wouldn't be wise...I don't know how to ride." After all...he hated horses really.
Well that was new to her...she thought all drow learned to ride...or all elves for that matter really, what with thier activites being and what not. "Easy fix, Zahara's rode Serino before let her take him. Either Din or Sevilin can ride with her and the one left can take Ashlyn." Yay organization skills. Though a little dismayed look as Malik more or less pushed her into a seat. Oh great...eating. She had done that last night. Oh well...she'd have to stomach down a meal wouldn't she?
"However...I'm just saying. I'm not a good rider." And a look to Malik before walking over to him at being waved over. "Andallian rune magic is based on internal energies and maifestations of those. I've taught her what induced runes feel like and how they were manipulate and alter her own magics when applied. She can't rune on her own yet...you shouldn't expect her too anytime soon. Though that is no problem...I'll do my job as support to the group."
Though he did take a look at Piper, all done up in armor. Hm...her weapons were runed too. Meant either she'd have to deal with getting hit with a radius affect or learn to stay out of the range he was going to have on Zahara. But on to breakfast, ah food.
